Grooming gang scandal

Grim as fuck this case.
It's a well known fact that most grooming gangs in this country are white. From the press coverage, you would think this doesn't exist.
However, this inconvenient fact doesn't fit into the racist narrative of the mostly right wing press who are ever happy to beat the drum every time there is a case involving men of Pakistani heritage but are strangely quiet on cases involving white people.

No, it obviously went over your head like the other poster( although likely he was just being a dick again)

Rochdale grooming gang get grief
People argue, colour race country is mentioned(bluemoon, doesn't it always:-))

A case in Scotland.brought up, insinuations are made, why aren't some people or the media discussing this etc which is an obvious attempt at so your not bothered because............

Me mentioning white and Scottish was done for an obvious reason. If posters are going to default to you're only bringing it up because of colour then others could also reverse that. Some of you only brought up Glasgow because they weren't of a certain colour. It seems the main point of these cases gets lost.

The media hasn't been as vocal on this maybe the whole media is a bit racist. Or maybe like everything media fatigue sets in.

Maybe as another poster said we could leave this nonsense out of it.

Anyhow I must have finally achieved subtlety in my posting.
Wait until there is another case involving Asians to see how fatigued the press are on this subject.

Didn't a worryingly high number of Southport rioters plead guilty to minimise their sentences because they were already out on license for being nonces?

We’re Tommy Tit and Farage all over the Glasgow child abuse scandal? Hang on ! Wrong colour abusing cunts!

Someone just sent me this, a good speech by Katie Lam in the House.

These rape gangs have been raping girls in as many as forty-five towns across the country!

For the record, here's what Jess Philips said in reply:

I thank the hon. Lady; I think it is a shame that she referred to only one sort of child abuse victim, when the statement is clearly about all child abuse victims. There should be no hierarchy; we are also talking about children raped by their fathers or raped in other circumstances, such as in children’s homes and institutions, over many years. It is a shame that she did not speak about any of their experiences, notwithstanding the very graphic and upsetting stories that she did tell.

Obviously, I have worked for many years with the exact girls that the hon. Lady talked about. Much of what she already knows is because of the inquiries that have already occurred, such as in Rotherham and in Rochdale. She did not refer at all to the two-year inquiry that was part of the IICSA panel. That was a statutory inquiry that looked into lots of areas, and I wonder if she maybe wants to reacquaint herself with the 200 pages of that report.

I understand the hon. Lady’s sense of anger and urgency about the issue. None of this is her fault—she was not here at the time—but she worked with the then Minister, who sat in offices where I now sit and did not lift a single finger on any of the recommendations contained in the Jay inquiry. The shadow Home Secretary, the right hon. Member for Croydon South (Chris Philp), spent almost two years as Minister for Crime, Policing and Fire. During his time in that role, he held 352 external meetings, including 23 separate meetings on the policing of protests, but not once did he hold a discussion on grooming gangs or what the police were doing to investigate them. He did not have one meeting with the police, victims, local authorities or Alexis Jay, who had some choice words to say about some of the special advisers—I do not know if the hon. Lady knows who they were—in the Department when Alexis Jay was trying to get her requirements across the line.

Today, the Government have published a detailed and systematic action plan for the future. It is not about headlines; it is about the frontline. It is about how these things are going to take time in lots and lots of areas of our country. This does not happen overnight because somebody wins a political argument. It is going to take work, and I very much welcome the hon. Lady joining me, unlike in the years when I was the Opposition spokesperson, when the current shadow Home Secretary never bothered to involve me.

The new channel 4 documentary really brings home the shame on this country.
So many red flags ignored, a lot of people need to go to jail for a long time.
It's like the druggy parents selling their kids to pedos for drug money and no one hears much about that.

Kids homes have quite a lot of abused kids with that kind of history. Makes you sick.

Shoot the lot of them, nonce cunts.

Indeed, but most on here would prefer you to look the other way, no need for a national enquiry as there are white grooming gangs too is the usual from the apologists for the rapists.
It really does shame us all.
I have said before that I am confident there will be a National enquiry, we may have to wait for the next government ,but it will come.
It won't be good reading for any members of any government of the past 30 years but will far worse for the Labour Party than anyone else. It won't be good for many of the posters on these threads either.
Don't be surprised if lots in the Parliamentary Labour Party break ranks with Starmer before then on the National enquiry issue but if that happens the slimy fucker will call the enquiry but make sure it doesn't have time to report before the next election.
If you are interested in how and why the Labour Party is so complicit, have a look on YouTube for Raj Miah and his take on Oldham council. Also GB news presenter Charlie Phillips on YouTube has done a lot of good work.

Starmer bought the first prosecutions against Muslim grooming gangs and reshaped it to bring more justice, Jess Phillips has been at the forefront for victims of abuse.
We’ve had countless enquiries, most notably the baroness J one in which as a result recommendations were put forward - the Tories sat on these and didn’t enact any. Shame on them.
There is no need to waste more millions, more time carrying out a national enquiry to end up with the same results.
Start enacting the recommendations and get on with that, any further delay is failing the victims.

Like I said, the national enquiry will happen.
Patience.
Then we will see ...
