You did call it, but like all great champions over the years often they get through and even win championships without playing that well and seem to just find a way to get through matches - hence hard to write him off. But think we can now.
 
Sad to see an apparent decline. Naturally gifted but decided to coach himself, a strange decision but obviously what he seems to be best.

He looks frustrated/sad rather than annoyed too. Which makes it harder to watch!

Nah my money is on Trump, could be a classic though, assuming Trump beats Williams.

On another note am I the only person who really dislikes Ronnie O’Sullivan as a person? Fantastic player to watch but a very difficult attitude

Edit watching this thread maybe I’ll need to change my mind about Trump winning if he gets in the final!

He himself never cheated. But he knew others were doing it and didn’t tell the snooker governing bodies.
He was probably scared of Liang Wenbo who apparently is a nasty piece of work.
So maybe a bit naive, but definitely not a cheat imo.

Wenbo is an absolute twat and a vermin that needed cutting from snooker anyway. A try hard showman with a shit attitude. Glad he’s gone.

There is always a way to water it down, but he was given a 20 month ban, You fight to clear your name if you're innocent and don't take the ban, just like John Higgins cheating and taking the ban because he was guilty, because he was filmed sorting out a deal, You think that was the first time hahahaha

Stephen Lee got a 12 year ban for doing the same thing ??

O'Sullivan had a good second day but you never know what version will turn up. Even when he played well the other day, his long potting was still miles off. You won't get away with that deep into the tournament.

I'm always impressed with Zhao Xintong. Wouldn't surprise me if he was the first Chinese player to lift the trophy. I put him and Trump as my two favourites.

Obviously Xintong hasn't won it yet, still got to see off the semi and then it'll be a tough final but i said here in this post that I fancy him and Trump as my favourites

He also admitted to placing bets on matches he knew were being fixed but like to said he was never actually involved in a match fixing games.

In regards to Wenbo apparently he was the ringleader and would coerce other players into match fixing though intimidation and bullying.
 
Mad to have a new ferrule and tip out on overnight. Game over.

Ronnie's safety shocking and the kid has punished it.

Water it down? Xintong was not involved in any match fixing matches but admitted to the investigation he knew players involved but failed to report them. He also placed bets on match fixing games. Those are the 2 reasons he was banned. The investigation were satisfied he never cheated

Ronnie will be sat thinking am done! When he gets beat he should rave about this kid and talk about what he said about all these younger snooker players ain't good enough but this kid is the one stepping up.

If he comes out with am done am retiring it's not a good luck
