We neee to keep the spirals exposed but there needs to be a led wrap or similar around the starting really make it a world class venue?

When you have the money you can have both? Dont forget, ADUG when they first turned up were rumoured to have hated the look at the stadium and wanted to knock it down and build something spectacular but got turned down?

Think the important word in that statement is “rumoured”
 
Just few screen grabs of the roof and the Etihad stadium.

I have to say, it does look quite impressive when you see the whole of the Etihad stadium, including the new stand, and the 2 claws from the air. Especially the view down Joe Mercer Way, above the North stand.(last picture)

I hope the club will do something with Joe Mercer Way and make it a walking destination towards the new North stand. Maybe images of all City's grounds throughout the history of the club?

Im sure when they develop the arena/canal side shopping restaurant area Joe Mercer Way will be developed and included in the whole thing.

Thanks jrb, he asked me a while back for permission to use some of my footage and credit me. I had no problem with that as it sort of advertises my channel and videos. Thanks for spotting it and letting us know appreciate that mate.
 
Is it likely that city have asked for an away game first game of next season to crack on with the work over summer?
 
What sort of Test Events can we expect leading up to the January 2026 opening?
Presumably some of the Women's and Academy games will be played there with controlled numbers (as well as deliberately Empty Seats). Those are the sort of events Spurs and Everton held for their new stadia.
