My only question is how the hell are we, a nation totally surrounded by natural resources, paying the highest prices in western Europe for power? And no, I don't lay the blame exclusively at the feet of the net zero goal - there's also a lot of rip off profiteering going on and has been for decades, so whilst I do not exclusively blame Labour, they are in part to blame for allowing it to continue as were the Tories for the previous 14 years.

Sort out the high prices and profiteering and the WFA withdrawal would never have been an issue.

Or if your heroes hadn't persuaded the country to vote to make us poorer.

Same question I asked a couple of years ago when gas went through the roof. I was told that it couldn’t be done but it was never explained why the marginal pricing rules couldn’t be changed by Parliament.
