Adam Wharton

Who are the 17 foreign spots.
Must Have:
Haaland
Gvardiol
Dias
Khusanov
Rodri
Marmoush
Savio
Doku
Gonzalez

Will stay as role players
Akanji
Kova
Nunes

Complicated
Bernado
Gundogan

On the bubble
Nunes
Ortega

Gone
Kev
Ederson

So assuming we move everyone below complicated

Kev, Ederson, Ortega, Nunes That leaves us with 4 foreign additions. Plus maybe 2 homegrown to replace Stones, Kyle, Ake, and Jack

1) Donarumma (Moving back to a dominant dhot stopper for keeper)
2) Reindjers ( the Marque addition - Not Wirtz but close)
3) Kerkez ( the Left back prospect to battle Nico)
4) MGW/Wharton ( in other words i prefer Wharton but understand reality is what it is)
5) Livramento (our starting RB - injury history is a worry)
6) Homegrrown Goalie ( i don't have a name yet)

Its not the most exciting haul but we strengthen every weakness.
If Pep wouldn’t play Joe Hart for his ability with his feet then he wouldn’t play Donmaruma either

Donnarumma is as good as our current backup with his feet. And far more dominant everywhere else

I think Pep will be okay With Donna. His problem with Joe Hart was that Joe wasn't willing to adapt and try.

Donnarmma plays out of the back. Even if he is not Eddy's level.

Don’t think he is as good as our back up with his feet. We’ll end up with Diogo Costa or the Spanish one at Espanyol - Donnaruma would want star player wages as well, don’t think we’d pay that to a goalkeeper

He isn't as good as Ortega, who is pretty good with his feet just not in comparison to Ederson. Don't even know why Donnaruma is even mentioned it's a non starter, we probably don't want him,PSG won't want to lose him, and no reason to think he wants to leave.

thats not true. there was a recent interview where hart said he would have done pretty much anything in order to stay but pep told him to leave.

also do not think donnarumma is on the same level as ortega with his feet.

Pep is brutal with that stuff, didn’t realise how he forced Aguero out. We know he did the same with Yaya, and now KDB but he probably did it with David as well.

Might as well close this thread. I think you will find he died of his injuries after the game.
How he was allowed to come back on (against all protocols) when he had clearly suffered a severe head injury, God only knows.
It will come out in the post mortem (unless conducted by VAR).

Is that why our medics were having a go at theirs?

Thought that was Guehi?
