Holidays

Just back from nine days in Spain: Madrid, Merida, Caceres and Seville. Shift pattern at work very kind so shortly have six days off in a row. Randomly chose to fly to Albania, still deciding where and what to do.

Loads of cheap deals on the tui app if anyone wants a week in Greece/skiathos next week before the kids break up . One gaff has a premium room for £200 each with flights from Manchester on Tuesday. Same holiday the following Friday is nearly 2 grand more in a lower standard room .

Anyone been to supetar in brac island Croatia?

It's absolutely stunning pal, we tripped over for the day from Hvar. All the Croatian islands are perfect. Can also get a speedboat to Split and between the other islands. Think we paid £100 for the day each. Basically a personal skipper and boat for 12 hours, and it's fucking fast

Cheers mate, we are going in July, looking forward to it

Yes we had 10 days in Brac
Felt slightly isolated and not a great to do. Caught ferry to Split for the day which was very good.
Aye the Mrs and kids will just be happy with the beach/pool as they lazy fuckers, I will be looking to go running everyday and getting the ferry to split for the frog museum is high on my to do list, did you go while you were there?

It's an amazing place. Never seen water so clear and we've been all over the world. We went last June and it was scorching. Still fairly cheap compared to everywhere else as well. Enjoy.

A couple of days in Wales. Went to Portmerion for the first time today and with the weather, it really did feel like the Mediterranean! One of the best days out I’ve had in the UK, with some stunning architecture.

Off to Elounda, eastern Crete. Been to Crete 3 times but not here before. Drove through Elounda and had a short stop when the lad was about 5, but he’s 19 now so a while back. Planning to get a car for a few days and tour about. The Minoan sites, beaches, cities, towns and villages look like there’s plenty to do. And its wild, mountains, gorges, plains - all look stunning.
