I'm going to be annoyed if Ake and Akanji walk straight back into the starting 11. The back four has looked so settled I don't care about what players are available, we need to finish the season with Nunes-Diaz-Gvardiol-Oreily in every single game. The others can come back in for the CWC.

If they did, it wouldnt be for O Reillys spot (this is his thread so I assume your worried here).

Pep is currently asking alot of the fullbacks in attack, and Ake cannot ever hope to do anything like that.

Pep wont diss a senior player for a youngster. We've seen it time and time again.

I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if he was barely seen next season. When we have a bigger quota of available CBs, I expect Pep will do exactly as he did today and push Gvardiol over.
