So, let’s think this through shall we.
We have something like 150000 members, all presumably, able to buy tickets for a game, should they wish.
Season tickets holders number 35000 maybe, I’m not sure.
God knows how many Tunnel Club/ executive box owners?
3000 away fans.
A capacity of 53400, soon to be 61000 ish.
So, maybe 12000 ish available seats for other members, before season ticket resales which are apparently around 3000 per match.
It equates to some 100k fans who, on a hoc basis, buy the odd ticket for a match., ish?
Our Branch had 260 ish members, some always buy tickets themselves, we get next to no away tickets so high point owners buy their own.
Only a small nucleus travel regularly to away games, maybe 15.
Around 75 are season tickets holders, the rest match day members, that’s the minimum to get a ticket in our branch.
For the FA Cup final, around 125 are going, around 90 got tickets through the OSC, at £125 a pop, so not cheap!
Everybody who has a Cup final ticket, have been to games, dso me over decades of support for City.
So remind me again, what is the difference with an OSC member getting a ticket and, one of the 100k plus match day members who do the odd game when they can, also getting a ticket.
Or indeed, one of the 15k FA tickets, circulated to grass roots and other clubs across the country, which are used by any Tom, Dick or Harry?!
