Seat Counters - 2024/25

The difference is a supporters club member who has not done a single game applies for a final ticket, many asking for more than 1 (sometimes not a member of the club (35 quid paid), so the supporters club pool resources) and they get a certain ticket (more than 1) and in the lower price bracket. They have not got a season ticket, a membership, done a single game, given City literally nothing and through their branch have secured a nice cheap ticket/s before season card holders and proper members, doesn't seem fair to me, others think otherwise. These non supporters should be down the pecking order and if tickets remain you would see how truly keen they are.
If that does indeed happen, then that is clearly not on.

I don’t know which club you speak of, but it doesn’t happen like that at our club.
Did you read and digest anything I wrote?!

Can you imagine the moaning on here if that happened?

Good idea, by the way

It wouldn’t make a jot of difference to City, but mean the world to 1500 fans, it will mean City would be sacrificing nothing in reality because they wouldn’t get a share of any unsold seats anyhow, just drop them to 100 quid, still not cheap

When the game is officially sold out bro

Ric has posted he will allow it after L1 & L5 sell out.

FA Cup Final tickets

Can’t do a seat count as I’m in the garden BBQing but I’m going to hazard a guess that we’ve sold about 8 since this morning.

They should
But they wont

Every £ they can squeeze out of the fans , they will
But that means getting £0.00 for empties rather than a smaller % for slashed prices. Also better atmosphere tgen..PR..more appealing to much needed new players

So, let’s think this through shall we.
We have something like 150000 members, all presumably, able to buy tickets for a game, should they wish.
Season tickets holders number 35000 maybe, I’m not sure.
God knows how many Tunnel Club/ executive box owners?
3000 away fans.
A capacity of 53400, soon to be 61000 ish.
So, maybe 12000 ish available seats for other members, before season ticket resales which are apparently around 3000 per match.
It equates to some 100k fans who, on a hoc basis, buy the odd ticket for a match., ish?
Our Branch had 260 ish members, some always buy tickets themselves, we get next to no away tickets so high point owners buy their own.
Only a small nucleus travel regularly to away games, maybe 15.
Around 75 are season tickets holders, the rest match day members, that’s the minimum to get a ticket in our branch.
For the FA Cup final, around 125 are going, around 90 got tickets through the OSC, at £125 a pop, so not cheap!
Everybody who has a Cup final ticket, have been to games, dso me over decades of support for City.
So remind me again, what is the difference with an OSC member getting a ticket and, one of the 100k plus match day members who do the odd game when they can, also getting a ticket.
Or indeed, one of the 15k FA tickets, circulated to grass roots and other clubs across the country, which are used by any Tom, Dick or Harry?!
So with about 100k interested "fans" we will sell what 31k txts for the final?

Quick count catch up,
L1 - 105
L2 - 1560

Total left 1665.

Less the 8 seats that keep popping up occasionally in 108 and 114?!
Thats a lot of empties for a final... have Palace sold all their £280.00 plus txts...glaringly demonstrates North / South wealth divided and disparity re wages..travel as well but mostly deeper SE home county pockets

Heads should roll over this and the semi final.

Must be great having a job where there's literally no thinking involved. Can just picture them in the ticket office on Friday afternoon discussing amongst themselves what they're getting up to at the weekend.

One turns to the other 'There's still a couple of thousand tickets left for the final next week to shift!'

'Really?'

'Yeah'

'What was the last criteria?'

'2 FA Cup games'

'Ok, make it one from Monday'

Then proceed to talk about their weekend plans.
