99% agree. After a new coach, getting a replacement is top of the summer to do list. Going to be very difficult to get a player of matching quality.Sorry don't agree. Look what she has to deal with, 3/4 different central defenders to partner a nervously poor keeper positionally all over the place behind her gifting goals, weak midfield and most of all a team decimated with injuries. Nobody had a good season and I include fans favourites Hasegawa and Park. This girl is genuine world class and at 25 a nailed on starter for Spain and will prosper with great players at Barcelona. She never let us down and gave 100%, seemed genuinely in touch with the fans and very popular with the players. Thanks Laia and best of luck in the future!
The 1% of disagreement is "nobody had a good season". For me, if we ask the question "were they better than the year before?" I'd say Mary Fowler did.
Other players had mitigating factors of a) being injured (Hemp + Shaw) b) being played out of position (Park) and c) being played too much (Give Yui a break!). b and c a knock on effect of other players' injuries. A very vicious circle.
