Love this place.
Heaven on Earth.
Snorkelled it with wife and son many moons ago.
Was there as a kid and brought the family back.
It’s at one of the most westerly points of Ireland on Achill Island but the headland is like a hook, so the bay is sheltered from westerly winds snd points back eastwards.

I'm in San Francisco of the moment.... walking around places like fisherman's Wharf and other tourist areas are really nice but when you walk around other streets in the city you see loads of fentanyl addicts shooting up in open air, half bent over talking to themselves.
So many of them. Seattle was similar. Scary!

What is the biggest desert in the world?
Growing up in the USA in the 1960's I was taught that it is the Sahara Desert.
The answer I was taught in grade school is no longer accepted as correct. The correct answer is the Antarctic Polar Region. It seems that the classification of what constitutes a desert has changed sometime in the past - but I've no idea when.
The above may be of interest to older Citizens... but "duh!, no kidding" likely applies to most viewers.
