Don't know. Feel free to tell me. But games I have watched them both play, more often than not, I found myself thinking fair play Jack, making a case for playing the next game. With Foden it was most often, what the fuck happened to you.

With Gundo, I might agree it was sentimentality, but it was a “good, cheap deal” given the year he had at Barca.

However, I’m just not having the denigration of Bernardo. He is a steady Eddy and always covers every blade of grass three times. He plays multiple positions and does the job Pep wants…which is Bernie’s job!

Because of injuries, Bernardo has had to be used as the ultimate utility man, and has had to stifle his natural game to be what the team needed him to be on any given day…and he’s done it superbly.

I have more to say about that, and Pep’s role in our season, but now is not the time. We still have games to win.
 
I don't presume to know whom he was referencing in his comments. However, some of you beggar belief.

I'm sure some of you lot basically calling Bernardo a **** were lauding him, and rightly so imo, for refusing to participate in the red dippers Guard of Honour. Probably many of you were also calling Rodri shit (and he wasn't great) during his first season but now act like you've been his biggest supporter since the day he rocked up here.

Shit does get to me, and off the back of the southampton performance, the handball non-decision, the defeat, and then the negativity on here - something had to give and the timing of the comments broke the camel's back of wrath.

Happy birthday Sheila. They should have sent Johnny Stones round in person but I suspect they'd be worried about what you'd do to him!
 
I think after Saturday he has looked back at the game and thinks saviho doku and haaland were not busting a gut to track back or tackle so it’s left to the other 6 players to cover the pitch, the 2 wingers for me are not good enough because also there final ball into the box is crap, just seen a montage of Sane oh how I which we could get a player like that. Plus there goal contributions are shite.

Maybe we’ve been forcing the price up on Wirtz so it gobbles up funds set aside for Leroy’s new contract….Nah
