They are dog dirt. Their league position isn't a false position, it is exactly where they are as a club.

Spurs are struggling in the league but I don't see them being in that position next season, nor is it where they are as a club. A few smart moves and they'll be top half. It's just a poor league campaign, it happens.

But when you look at the rags, it's really hard to see them just turning it around next season. They've been getting worse and worse. Their signings are usually nowhere near the standard of where they want to be. No team fears them. Even though they've been shite for over 10 years now, there was still teams stuck in the past and bottling it against them but that's well and truly fading. No CL football either.

Unless they somehow stumble upon some signings that click, then I don't see them being in a much better position next season.

That just made me think of the power of the media to " gaslight" the masses. Talk used to be about the top four, then the top six, what next top seventeen?

Ironic that they wanna be like Spurs, new ground and in the CL.
Be nice if they managed a draw against Villa at least, and Spurs beat Brighton.

I watched on Bein so the feed was behind, I was so relieved wen my phone pinged to say Spurs had won but there was still 60 secs to go on my tv .

Funny that I've heard rags saying they were the better team and dominated the match against a team that's done them 4 times this season

I dont know who said this but it reminds me of " Be nice to people on the way up because you never know when you might meet them on the way down. " A little graciousness for everything City have done for them wouldn’t have gone amiss. Instead they chose to gloat. Karma is a wonderful thing.
