Your response agrees with my pointBollocks. You need balance yes and you don’t need 11 world class players but every single one of our title winning sides had at least 4-5 world class players in the starting side. We don’t have that now.
I think this is the issue we face. We miss out on Wirtz and there are very few realistic backup options who even remotely excite at the thought of them joining us. We will have to pay 100m + for MGW - get to fuck with that. Eze i've no idea really but he'd cost a hell of a lot as well. After that, world football and the PL is hardly overflowing with attacking talent.Who is nowadays? Feels like a real dearth of top quality players about. Even Wirtz 150 million is underwhelming, he's not fit to lace Kev's boots. He was doubling his output in the Bundesliga and cost about 40% of that.

For me if Wirtz is a no, we keep our money aside and go big strong on midfield and full backs. Who knows what will change in 12 months time.
