Fucking hell are you still going on about fucking post codes you boring fuck. If Kev wants to consider himself and his kids Mancunian because he played for MANCHESTER City proudly for ten years I fucking welcome then, even if they live in Cheshire. If you don’t that’s up to you but don’t bore the fuck out of me with it all day. “VVD and the Liverpool lads”, that’s not how I’d describe the dipper cunts by the way, wherever the cunts live
Hahahaha you're absolutely on strings. Sorry that you've finally discovered you're not a Manc.

Surprised there was no David Silva on the video tributes, I kept waiting for him to pop up, but nothing. Doesn't mean anything, just an observation. I feel like he was probably the only player missing apart from maybe Kolarov, Clichy, G.Jesus.
Yeah agree if I would do a sleeve tattoo right now it would be Kompany, Hart, David Silva, Kun Aguero, Kinkladze, Zabaleta, Quinn, Pep and De Bruyne on it.

It’s a OL postcode that’s not Manchester alerting g centre
Oldham is a major sorting centre as I stated about postcodes Eh?
Old scaffold has got a Manchester postcode. It’s not in Manchester though is it? A postcode is just something Royal Mail invented to sort and deliver the post. City boundaries should be the conversation.

Yep. Postcodes mean nothing. Look at the Doncaster postcode area for instance - it covers parts of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire!

The south of Cumbria has an LA post code, roughly starting at Kendal but those to the left of the M6 (as you head south) seem to mostly have retained a CA post code.

Me too, was behind the goal as well. Knew it’d gone in as soon as he got the the ball back from Jesus.
That screamer at Chelsea Sept 17 seems to be most folks favourite. It was mine because at that point I knew we would win the PL. Completely outplayed the Champion Chavs.

Favourite assist - simply for what it meant was Soton May 18, Gabby scores = 100 points.

Although Newcastle last season ( Oscar Bobb) and Leroy ( v Stoke Autumn 17/18?) was an absolute peach are honourable contenders.

So many in Europe too, where he has helped massively. The 1-1 equaliser at the Bernebeu May 23 to level the scores and put us on an even footing for what most expected to be a 'close' second leg at The Etihad. You know the score, it was 4 zip and a brilliant performance.

Kev also played an important role during is first 15/16 season and contributed massively to us winning the League Cup. He missed the final through injury ( out a couple of weeks iirc) but even during his first campaign for his beloved Blues, I knew we had an absolute gem Star on our hands.

Now, I really must go and find Merse, maybe I will try Ladbrokes and get his view on KDB.....:-)

Fucking hell excuse my small geographical inaccuracy. I am Mancunian, and I live in Altrincham, which is in Cheshire. I still feel Mancunian. But let’s be pedantic for no good reason
Altrincham hasn't been in Cheshire for over fifty years if you were really being pedantic.

Just in terms of geographical pedantry.
Altrincham, sale, timpers, Dunham and sunny Hale were all shunted from Cheshire to gtr manc when the lefties changed boundaries to try and win seats.
My father was forever disgusted if we ever said we were from Manchester when meeting folk on holiday and such like.
"Cheshire, we live in Cheshire..." he would say in his slightly pompous, booming tone.
Not bad for a farmer's lad from Yorkshire...
You may be a geographical pedant but your political knowledge is shit. The move of the likes of Altrincham, Sale, etc. and also Stockport and Cheadle Hulme from Cheshire to Greater Manchester was legislated in 1972 by a Tory Government.

The Manchester border first changed in the 30s incorporating a big swathe of Cheshire south of the Mersey including Northenden.
A friend insists she comes from Manc to which I reply Timperley is in Cheshire but she’s technically correct about Grtr Manc.

Indeed. I live in Barnet but have an Enfield postcode!

You get the same with Salford. A different city to Manchester but the only postal districts in Salford are those of Manchester (M).

Just watched it on the City website and pretty sure of current players there was no tribute from Kovacic, Walker (i know he's currently not in the squad), Savinho and McAtee, and none of the January intake. The first 2 are surprising, but the others less so i guess.

As to former players, David Silva perhaps most surprising, but also no Yaya, Otamendi, and as you say Clichy, Jesus among others. And Mendy, lol.

And was Pep there?

Yaya (3 years) and Clichy (2 years) were around for only a small proportion of KDBs time at City and, of course, are not current players. Clichy is also far from being a legend/key player at City. Delph would have been a better choice than Clichy. I think they got the mix of players spot on but it would have been good to have Merlin make an appearance.
