The Labour Government

"No, I'm not that stupid".

Well it's only earlier this week you thought the pensions had gone up £6900 so it's debatable.

You do actually know what your council tax pays for? But that is a local government issue and again not something that can in its' entirety be directed at central government. In fact, you're all over the place, one minute blaming Labour in Wales and the next Starmer personally.

Ofwat and OFGEM are merely the regulators and whilst they may have some influence on how organisations operate, their ability to influence the prices suppliers charge in an open market is debatable.

As far as the other stuff is concerned, I have proven that if you take some personal action it is possible to reduce your outgoings and why you chose to throw them into a rant about central government is beyond me.

Again, it seems that you find it really hard to acknowledge that most of your rant was just that, without foundation and actually not aimed in the right direction. I'm sure your mates Nigel, Richard and Lee will be all for the man in the street. In fact, I see Farage was away on holiday yesterday so didn't get involved in the Brexit reset debate.

But look on the bright side-you're nearly £500 better off already with 4 years of the parliament to go. Be careful how you spend it!!
Crikey, you really are dense.... I really don't think I want to spend anymore time discussing issues with someone who struggles with the simple basic stuff.

If you believe we are better off under a Labour Government then good for you. You will learn in time. I personally think (along the lines of Rayner) that this government has targeted to hit the poorest whilst there are huge multi-nationals ripping us off, but hey so long as you're happy then fuck everyone else.

It's sort of good news but the numbers are still crazily unsustainable. And according to the news the reduction is mainly down to the last government stopping dependents of students coming here. How anyone thought that was a good idea in the first place is beyond me. So the reduction may not be down to Labour.
I think one of the main issues here is the conflation of the migrants that travel here legally with Visas and are (supposedly) better controlled with the people who travel here illegally and are costing the country a fortune putting rooves over their heads.

You can put controls in place to limit the amount of visas that are issued and that is fair enough and a political decision.

The illegal migrants, the ones that Starmer was going to deal with by "smashing the gangs" using Border Force are the real problem that needs to be dealt with separately, but alongside, the control measures for legal immigration, something with which I doubt many on here would have many issues with.

I'm sorry you think me dense. For once apparently even facts are not enough for you. Assuming you are a pensioner, you are already £470 better off income wise than this time last year-fact! Now, if your pension
had reduced by the same amount you would be WORSE off, but no, an increase means you are BETTER off-now that really is simple, basic stuff. Not an opinion -fact, unless you now want to challenge the English language and basic maths.

Again, you now include another group to blame in the multi-nationals, which to a degree I agree with you. Your displeasure in life and politics reminds me of a muck spreader. Send it out in all directions and see where it may stick. but most people don't then go an open forum making bizarre, unsubstantiated and easily contestable claims.

The crux of the matter though is that the poorest could be better off if you hadn't fallen for the 2016 bullshit from your pals Nigel and Boris. £100bn every year-GONE.

It was what was written (badly). Unlike many on here I am happy to own any mistakes I make, unlike the brainwashed lefties.
That's it-blame others-typical. You were the only one that misunderstood. Maybe that's worth thinking about.

Sounds like you’re a brainwashed lefty.

So many thick people eh? Just wish we all had the vast volume of knowledge you are lucky to have. You're just so intelligent and knowledgeable, I really am in awe here
