Easily the best film of the year so far for me. Watched about 13 or 14 so far and it's comfortably clear.

Great music, great acting, the plot is okay in general but right up my alley so loved it more than most.

Will be heading out to see it this evening. Say what you want about the Scientology nonsense. And he comes across as someone who thinks his shit smells sweeter than most. But when it comes to putting on an action film, there's not too many better than him in Hollywood. The M:I and Jason Bourne films seem to be the leading franchises in that genre in the last 15 - 20 years.

Scientology is no more insane than any other religion/cult, he's a great actor as you say and that's what matters.

Most Hollywood types have issues and if you looked too deep into it you'd never watch anything.

It comes across as more of a cult than your mainstream religions. Now; there is a point of view that all religions are, to a greater or lesser degree, cults. But that's an argument for another thread, and I don't want to derail the thread. So, I'll leave it there for now.

It was okay. A lot of twists and turns. And, as someone else has said, it's a long film (nearly three hours). I found my attention wandering at times. 7/10.
