It's not raggish to call the elephant in the room an elephant.

It's just seeing things for what they are. Until that is resolved.. this sort of stuff will keep happening.

Some players just aren't sold on "words of the club" that oh it's nothing, will be fine. They'd rather avoid the whole thing.

But not everyone is like that obviously. Erling still signed with us for 9.5 years! Plenty of people still saying he doesn't fit us and should be sold though.. lol!

He's a City fan.

He's our first superstar signing since KDB back in 2015! Clearly still trusts City and buys into the project.

But I'm saying for the ones who are indifferent.. the 115 charges matter.. and hopefully it's in the rear view mirror soon but the damage to the reputation has been done!

Hopefully the acquittal will change hearts and minds!

It is raggish to say we missed out. You can’t miss out on something that doesn’t want to happen. If your ideology is the case, I’ve missed out on prime liz Hurley when I wanted to bed her in the 1990s from my shit paid job and bang average abode.

Im saying that the charges have had an effect on us, theyve done what they intended to do. Tarnish our name manipulate fans of all teams into believing we are the cheating bad guys who ruin footbal and the charges all together have had an effect. This is nothing to do with wirtz

It really hasn’t. Who cares what fans think? If we hadn’t been bought and all our success had come with the sheikh buying Newcastle, say, our fans would slag them off for the same reasons other fans slag us off for. That’s football fans for you.

115 haven’t done anything to damage us in terms of the clubs success

Yep, I remember reading the Bild article scathing about two particular transfers that we made, and that was KdB and Leroy Sane from the Bundesliga to us which straight away [to me] pointed to the German rags as the source.

Our record in the transfer market suggests that the poor job is quite common in regards to midfielders

We have had some standout great buys.....we have had also and more recently had some very poor ones....

Lots of our best players and critical players were bought around Pelegrini and start of Peps reign.....last few years it hasnt been good for midfielders with Rodri being the obvious very special odd one out....but then you have Kova, , Grealish along with others who never even got close to playing in midfield (Nunes Phillips Delph, Zinchenko)) which suggests there is a problem either identifying the quality or actually buying it.

We have bought in Peps reign 3 midfielders that have had the level of quality that gets you to the top.....Rodri, Gundo and Bernardo Silva but some of the squad that has helped get us to the top were bought pre pep incluing KDB, David Silva, Ferna

In other areas of the squad we have done a fantastic job - Cenral defenders and some of the wnngers/forwards especially

Fullbacks have been an issue all the way through with Walker being the exception.

What time has been wasted. We negotiated with Bayer, the lad came to Manchester, gave us his decision a few days later. Seasons not even over and windows not even open FFS

Ok he will become world class - and is going to get there soon.

He is already better than any midfield creative option we have barring none...Foden better goal scorer but creativty probably not.
Im not saying he is better than Rodri but we are talking about creativity

No guarantees on anyone but when you watch certain players you can see the potential and the limit of it or the potential of where it could get to...

I see for instance Wirtz has way more potential than MGW but I guess only time will tell.

If MGW is our creative outlet next season we are fighting for top 5 again if Foden doesnt get his mojo back as our wingers are not going to be able to step up enough to the next level

like Kane not sold to us but he then sold to Bayern, meh, ok we only ever meet them in CL if ever.
while Rice makes Arsenal much stronger as he is easily their best midfielder. Wirtz likely to be serious hit too for dippers.maybe fucking ex-dipper Xabi Alonso tipped him off.

you can bet dippers felt shit we ended up with Haaland same summer when they got Nunez. this could be the opposite if they get Wirtz and we get someone who is good at Forest.

rodri played 60 mins of football in the premier league 45 mins against brentford at home after we looked so shaky first half and 20 mins against arsenal where we looked so good
