Going nowhere.
Rodrygo in the frame though?
Going nowhere.
I hope we start seeing signs of this happening.Rodrygo in the frame though?
Which is ironically aligned with his on the field contributions - at least so far.Going nowhere.
And we all need to be realistic. There will be a lot of token fees because we need to hand it straight back to the player for paying up deals.
If Walker and Milan want each other still, it will be factored into the Reinjdeers deal.
If we can change the way we play I think Doku will be brilliant. But with teams that put all 10 outfield players in the box to defend he gets no space to run at defenders he just stands there.Which is ironically aligned with his on the field contributions - at least so far.

I guess Milan know we want him off the books and if they want him will act like they don’t to get the best possible deal. And we all need to be realistic. There will be a lot of token fees because we need to hand it straight back to the player for paying up deals.

Harsh getting rid of Gundo twice . LolNot so much telling players they must leave but they should...
The club has meetings today and tomorrow with the playing staff.
The World Cup is our big piece of leverage. This is why Pep said it could be difficult because we have players under contract, which ultimately offers all the protection to the player.
Stones
Eddie
Ortega
Gundo
Ake
Bernardo
Gundo
Grealish
McAtee
Walker
Phillips
Nunes.
All can find new clubs if they are open to offers.
There will be number of pay-offs and fee cutting.
I think we need to be prepared for more than people think, although I can't call if those with 12 months left, like Bernie, Stones, Jack, Gundo, Ortega and Eddie will just sit tight.
They won't play and that's where they have a decision to make.
It's another reason why Soriano and Txiki delivered the bad news to KDB. Pep just doesn't have the heart to tell people they aren't wanted anymore after he did it with Sergio.
They need to be, as every penny counts in Italian football.I guess Milan know we want him off the books and if they want him will act like they don’t to get the best possible deal.
But do they want him. He’s washed in my opinion.
These Italian clubs are tough negotiators for sure.
Makes sense that we aren’t looking at that type of player as we are loaded on the wings with Doku/Marmoush/Savio/Foden/Bobb/Echeverri who are all staying. Then add Bernie in the mix if we can’t shift him.I have zero knowledge of any deal set up for Rodrygo, don't know where the certainty has come from in some quarters?
It could be one of those deals willed into existence because the player and his agent now do all the running, but not something City have driven.

I guess Italian football although incredibly defensively structured is still a slower pace and Walker might not look out of place there. They need to be, as every penny counts in Italian football.
Walker might have been hoping Sheffield United went up as a possible loan option, as Tuchel still seems to want to pick him for England.
He will need to get proactive if Milan have discovered he is indeed finished at any decent level.
Akanji not on the list? I`d be fine with another season from Kovacic, but I can`t see us signing Jashari, Reijnders and MGW on top of Nico, Rodri, Kova, Lewis and FodenNot so much telling players they must leave but they should...

More than covered on the flanks.Makes sense that we aren’t looking at that type of player as we are loaded on the wings with Doku/Marmoush/Savio/Foden/Bobb/Echeverri who are all staying. Then add Bernie in the mix if we can’t shift him.
Ok Jack and McAtee look gone but still too many players for this to happen unless someone goes surely?
Pep does love midfielders…Akanji not on the list? I`d be fine with another season from Kovacic, but I can`t see us signing Jashari, Reijnders and MGW on top of Nico, Rodri, Kova, Lewis and Foden
Absolutely. Proper midfield running the show and hopefully some good full backs too.More than covered on the flanks.
Their output will be improved when we have actual proper midfielders arriving in the box in numbers.

Do think someone would have to leave to facilitate though.
