I have enjoyed MOTD since I was a boy, and, at the age of 56, I remember well the days when it was the only consistently televised footy. I will miss Gary Lineker, and admired what he stood for.

I tend to find that people who take that position simply don't agree with the politics of that person.

The thing is, the situation in Israel is not 'political'. It is not political to express disgust at the murder of civilians and a manafactured famine.
