System 1 has exactly 17 non-HG (including Bernie and Gundogan) with both keepers non-HG.

System 2 adds Vanderson and goes over by 1. But I think we likely have to sell one of Gundogan or Bernie (or technically Kova but I kept him) anyways for squad size.


Using prem rules, where u21 dont count towards non-HG quota, hence Reis, Echeverri, Khus and Savio dont count towards non-HG. I know UCL is different, but we just give then a different list, I dont consider that as big a deal.

But its still tough to meet the quotas.

I'm not sure that the players that you are leaving out of the CL squad will see it that way.

Kova or Silva (can see that going either way, id keep Silva but not really arsed how they work it)

Ive heard someone rlse say this also.

Then just loan them, or sell more.

Considering how little Reis and Echeverri played at the end of this season, they are clearly project players.

Keeping them for cup games and premier league only is plenty of game time.

Otherwise loan them, or sell both Gundogan and Bernie to make it work.

Yes and normally I'd agree but they both had to be excluded from our last CL squad, so the may (or may not) be so willing this time.

I guess a lot depends on who comes in and who leaves as we currently have plenty of players for their positions.

So Echeverri (+Reis) PL only and two of Kova/Silva, Gundo or Nunes to go. That works but MGW doesn't make your first XI?

He might, nail a place, but on pure talent i'd guess that's the best XI?. Form, circumstance changes it etc

I make the numbers slightly different in that:

HG - Association trained - Livramento, MGW, Ake = 3
HG - Club trained - Foden, Bobb = 2
B-list - O'Reilly, Lewis = 2

Not that it makes much difference and I may be wrong.

Carson. You're right Bobb moves this season, thought he had a year left of eligibility for B List.
