That's a given. He isn't, I know someone who flew out for this and there was never going to be any 115 talk.
I feel like you are operating at 200 miles an hour on here whereas we're all doing 30.

Fuck me mate, you're not the brightest lol. What do you think that means?I thought he said this - "Our objective is to be ready with a new squad for the Club World Cup"
As someone who grew up wishing to just once get the chance to see us play at Wembley, to have a day out with 30,000+ other blues, and getting very excited at a Gillingham play off final, let’s just say we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.
A day out at a Cup final is usually great, and even better if you win.
Pedantic, I know, but they don't mean the same thingFuck me mate, you're not the brightest lol. What do you think that means?
Went to watch it, two mins in talking about consecutive cl seasons 7 fa cup semi finals on the spin (only two fa cups won) and 3 finals on the spin (only one won) I turned it off. Not being gaslit about this season.
I think being realistic isn’t small time. Sometimes you’ve just got to accept that what we have witnessed has been mental and will never be achieved again. It was an absolute once in a lifetime moment. So now we’ve got to step back and think OK we need to do this right now and make sure we get it spot on. Thinking your ‘big time’ gets you to where Un**ed are now. This last season will end up being a blessing as it’s ended up showing us exactly what we needed. And finishing 3rd IS an achievement considering the run of 3 points in 2 months we went through. I don’t know of any other team in the world that could go through that run and finish third - and get to a cup final. It’s astonishing. We’ve also worked out how to get points without Rodri if and when needed. If this season and maybe another quiet one next season, means we then have another period of greatness then I’ll be happy. Let’s not all get billy big bollox like the has-been teams, otherwise this could all end very quickly. I think a lot of our fans need to put a lot more trust in the set up that has delivered us utter greatness. We aren't small time anymore mate, we are a top club and expectations shift to match that. Being as shit as we was holds no relevance to today. I was there too. I remember being outside of Wembley for a gig saying to a mate, I'd love to watch us here once. We have been spoilt. It doesn't mean this season should be sugar coated and things labelled a success that aren't. If you got told at the start of the season, we would scrape CL football on the last game, a season where 5 teams get in, win nothing, compete in no other competition but get to an fa cup final and lose to Palace, you'd think I took happy pills. My original point was Khaldoon almost celebrating failure.
The goal is to have everything/most done before the CWC. Anything can happen, but that's the goal.Pedantic, I know, but they don't mean the same thing
"we will have the new team in the Club World Cup" = It is done
"Our objective is to be ready with a new squad for the Club World Cup" = We will try and do it
I thought he said this - "Our objective is to be ready with a new squad for the Club World Cup"
What about the punctuation enforcers? No upper case letter at the start of your sentences?never mind all the whys and wherefores of koolhand...
bailey did it again.
i have expressly explained to him,
on a number of occasions over the last 2 decades,
twice in person,
that it is champing, not chomping, at the bit.
chomping means eating.
champing means eagerness.
he gets paid for being fucking stupid.
he's getting a visit later from you-know-who
and it won't be pleasant

I was there mate, thankfully my small time mentality didn't remain their like many in here.Mate, you'd have hated the '90s. Jeez
"Objective""New squad"
It isnt bily big bollocks, Man City are a big club, we are dining at the top table. Starting an end of season interview celebrating 7 semi finals in 7 years is insulting when only two of them resulted in a trophy. It isn't saying we should win them, it is saying it shouldn't be singled out as an achievement, because it isn't. As I backtracked, CL can be celebrated, even if that is celebrating a place on the final day when 5 places got entry. We accept the season and move on, we are in safe hands. The original point was don't insult us instantly about achievements which aren't achievements, our FA Cup return is considerably poor when put in context.I think being realistic isn’t small time. weve had a poor season by our high standards ,however hes looking for the positives , and qualifying for the champions league, getting to semi finals is a success, you cant win every game, and sometimes lady luck doesn't go your way, as for being insulted by that, behaveIt isnt bily big bollocks, Man City are a big club, we are dining at the top table. he's referring to the new matchday revenue maximisation squad, from the 2026-27 season all season ticket holders must spend at least £20 behind the bar at least 10 games per season or they will confiscate your phone, delete your season ticket and reissue it to an American tourist."New squad"
So he wasn't celebrating failure then? Which makes all the justification you've tried coming up with since moot?We aren't small time anymore mate, we are a top club and expectations shift to match that.
