Tbf it's been done and it’s a beauty.

I’d prefer a bit of sky blue and white detail on it like the 1990 version. Beautiful that.

2 reasons;

1. Because if they kept to the same design sales would plummet as whats the point in buying a new one if its similar to every other ‘kept simple’ kit.
2. Vast majority of kits are bought by kids and they think plain kits are boring. They want the flashy kits.
Remember the dick vein kit? Vilified by us FOCS, but a huge seller to the u18 market , who are the primary buyers.

Our simple home kits are some of the best sellers. But in marketing you have to make the old stuff obsolete. So every year something is a significant diffential to the last kit.

We've had a marron collar, navy collar, white collar in the last 3 kits. We're moving to a simple sky blue collar and white stripe as the significant feature.

I bet my house that next season we have no stripe and a collar something other than sky blue.

It's worth pointing out that this is a prediction based on what Footyheadlines have heard. They say it's 90% accurate as they know the colours and the theme, as well as placement of logos. You can tell it's not real as the OKX logo is incorrect and the city crest has been photoshopped on. I also think it might be Ai as Haaland isn't quite right, but not 100% certain on that.

I think the grey colour will be a bit lighter than that image as they report it's down as usingPumas 'Cool Weather' colour, which is a lot lighter than the grey they've used if you google other Puma Cool Weather coloured products.

I'd maybe hold off on getting angry and forcing city to pay off Pumas contract until you've seen the final version...

It's definitely AI. They have a description and they have fed that into AI and asked it to make a picture with Haaland wearing it
