Doesn’t really matter if they get £120m for him, he is their best player by a distance, especially in goal terms (creating and scoring) and they aren’t going to sign someone who’ll get 30-40 goals and assists a season, take all the set pieces and pens and crucially - plays virtually every single game.

They’ll be very pleased to hear about this in Burnley, Sheffield and Leeds.
Rat doesn't get you that many assists, goals per season anyhow.

I mean he has literally got 37 this season for them, so he I’m not sure how you can say that.

His G+A the last 5 years -

24/25 - 37
23/24 - 28
22/23 - 27
21/22 - 24
20/21 - 46
Average - 33

In fact across the entire last season they got 164 goals and assists - Fernandes and Garnacho accounted for 58 of them.

So an already shit United squad that finished 16th is losing 1/3 of their goal contributions.

My bad. I was just thinking about league goals. Good job they ain't in tinpot Europe again.

One of the biggest made up lies ever and it's still going to this day.

Between June and August 2011, market research company Kantar conducted a poll of "nearly 54,000 adults in 39 countries" and concluded United had 659 million global "followers".
going of that complete shit show they just lost 300 million "followers"

Things are getting serious for utd now the finances are being hit. This could be the biggest collapse of a football club for decades.

My brain can't even picture all of the shit that has happened at that club since Ferguson left. Its just so unbelievable, so much money and talent wasted.

And I think City's dominance has caused that to quite a large degree.

I seem to a be in a minority of one in that I would be gutted if they get £100m for a 30 year old Fernandes.

Even as their "best" player I still think he's hugely overrated and just as much to blame as any other rag player for their current predicament.
You’re not alone. Not worth anywhere near £100m at his age and length of contract remaining. The scum are in deep shit, need to sell and have to take any offer for any player.

It must be killing Sly Stone to write this.

Fucking Karma, ya biatch!

In this period of brutal cost-cutting, it seems doubtful Ratcliffe will be commissioning an update any time soon. On the evidence here in Hong Kong and Malaysia, it is hard to imagine United have close to that number now.

Where once they dominated the Premier League commercially, now they trail Manchester City, who have generated greater prize money over the past decade.

United are not the draw they once were.
A draw is a good result for them these days

It's beyond belief isn't it. When you think back to the managerial appointments and the weird signings. They haven't signed a manager to build around, and they haven't built a squad that any good manager can get a tune out of. They should have just settled into being 00s Real Madrid: here's 20 big name players, do something with them or you're out. But somehow they've spent galactico money on a mid-table squad and a manager who still needs £400m and 7 players to play his system. And all three of their biggest rivals (us, Liverpool, Arsenal) are head and shoulders above them on and off the pitch. I find it hilarious, but I'm fascinated by every terrible decision they've made since 2013.

I just think he's hugely overrated.

Yes he might produce the very occasional decent through-ball or forward pass, but the amount of times he loses possession or goes missing altogether in games far outnumber his few quality moments.

My concern is that if their value and share price do take a big hit then surely rather than the club spiralling further down and collapsing into administration it would just open the door for a buyout from someone like the Qataris?
