In front of ait-nouri or in addition? Assume the ait-nouri deal is happening mate?Top of the list, when it comes to fullbacks.
And I’m not surprised. However like the Bruno situation. It will not be easy.

Livramento is happy at Newcastle and they don't need to sell him. We need to move on and sign our plan B.Top of the list, when it comes to fullbacks.

In terms of the bigger target yes.In front of ait-nouri or in addition? Assume the ait-nouri deal is happening mate?
If that were the case, wouldn't Newcastle come out and flat out state that he's not going anywhere? I don't know the math, but they also still need to move someone for PSR. Livramento may be the one they prefer to do a deal for instead of Isak or Gordon.Livramento is happy at Newcastle and they don't need to sell him. We need to move on and sign our plan B.

What is?Utter tosh
Presumably that everyone and their mum knows how Livramento is feelingWhat is?
I read Livramento said recently that he's happy at Newcastle. If that's the case we're wasting our time and shouldn't try and unsettle him.Presumably that everyone and their mum knows how Livramento is feeling
Your logic is sound. I’ll trust Viana to pull the plug if there is no interest on Livramento’s endI read Livramento said recently that he's happy at Newcastle. If that's the case we're wasting our time and shouldn't try and unsettle him.
We need homegrown players there is no plan bLivramento is happy at Newcastle and they don't need to sell him. We need to move on and sign our plan B.
I'm sure the club have thought about not being able to sign him.We need homegrown players there is no plan b

Exactly. There's a reason why we haven't heard anything out of Newcastle or too much about other options at this point. This was always going to be a deal that takes until at least late-July.That we should move on!? We move on when Newcastle tell us that he is going nowhere, no matter how much you offer! Seeing that we haven't yet says we still believe we can buy him, and I believe we will go as high as £ 80m.
Only issue with Aina is that we'd lose him as well as Ait Nouri when AFCON kicks off in December. Losing both first choice full backs for at least a few weeks during that period could have a big impact on the season.Should be after Ola Aina if we can’t get this guy, he’s the only other homegrown right back after Livaremento and Frimpong that is any good or attainable
I hope we sign him as he's a really good player who will enhance our team but I can't see Newcastle being interested in selling as Livranento is happy and under contract till 2028 ane the club are happy with him. That we should move on!? Neither Newcastle or Livramento have said anything so there's no reason to think a move is dead. The club are probably focused on getting Reijnders, Ait Nouri and Cherki in for the CWC and will move on to Livramento and MGW once those first few are in. Newcastle will make a fat profit for whatever the fee is for Livramento and we have players in 1 or 2 positions (Grealish/McAtee and Ortega) they will be looking to reinforce for CL next season.I hope we sign him as he's a really good player who will enhance our team but I can't see Newcastle being interested in selling as Livranento is happy and under contract till 2028 ane the club are happy with him.
However, money talks and players walk, so you never know. Not sure we'll be able to afford 80m after signing our other targets.
Newcastle aren't gonna be a selling club for much longer if we win our FFP case.
We hate it when Real Madrid or Barcelona come sniffing round our players so if Newcastle say they're not interested in selling we should be respectful and walk away unless Livranento is hankering for a move this summer, which he isn't right now. But things could change....
Come on now let's not get silly, we're not frivolous or frittering Monopoly money around.Neither Newcastle or Livramento have said anything so there's no reason to think a move is dead.
