I want to thank @johnny crossan for recording this back in 2010. I archived it at the time and I've never forgotten this. The context is that Mancini was in Italy at the time and the reports were false FYI. They have always despised us, look at the contempt from these failed no marks, none of which are still mainstream reporters.

Used to love watching this video and the hate aimed at us is clear for all to see even since then.

Yes, I know they have to pay more to attract anyone, but some of the values that they're offering for mediocre at best players stinks of money-laundering and is also a get-out-of-jail card for cash strapped clubs like united who can then use that money to rebuild a team.

I remember that episode. Beasley being a tarquin despised City. And Dracula sat next to him was no better. But I will say this about Danny Fulbrook ( RIP ) He never really felt he needed to be like them. He was a decent journalist. And would probably have been pretty similar to Martin Samuel’s if he was alive today.
Danny was well respected in sport and was trusted by a lot of managers and players

I must admit I wanted to read his report on the Shipman trial & it’s quite an eye opener….

Legal experts debated whether the evidence was overwhelming, much like the debate surrounding whether Joe Royle could steer City out of their grim freefall. The defense attempted a counter-argument, echoing City fans clinging to the hope that their squad could somehow avoid another implosion.

As proceedings continued, Shipman remained impassive—just like City’s defence.

The trial resumes next week, as does City’s season.

That sounded like a parody of the football punditry. The obnoxious guy with a slicked back dark hair feels like a character straight out of Only Fools And Horses. I get it, people were more 'edgy' back then but this cannot be considered professional and/or serious punditry. They desperately wanted to bring in Middle East into the conversation, ofc seemingly no problem with Chelsea's infinite whatsoever (Russia had London by the balls back then).
