It’s a case of very well replaced. Not sure you can replace the PL’s best ever player, and not seen much of Cherki but what we have done with RAN Reijnders and Cherki has addressed 3 positions with excellent players. Same way we couldn’t replace DS and SA like for like we brought on Phil and bought Erling

Players can wear squad numbers between 1 and 99, provided they are registered with the same number in the club's most recent domestic league season.

The U21's don't need registering, Reis, Khusanov, Savinho are all good for another year, they would only be trimmed for total squad numbers that Pep would want, the latter 2 stay but wouldn't be shocked at a loan for 1 of the 3 (not Savinho).

We play in multiple competitions. Including the Champions League. They need registered there and count as NHG. The club have literally always built the team for that list, the PL list is pretty much irrelevant.

Yes sorry you're right so that makes the below correct I believe, in all honesty I think that puts some of the Jan signings more at risk. Unless we just don't register them for the CL group stages and give them 6 months in the league to adapt.

Agreed although there is an argument that Reis and Khusanov be kept on to adapt but don't make the CL squad.
