Looks like I may have been right that they'll remove it in coupled bays. You can see the first one that has had purlins stripped on both sides has had a yellow lifting beam attached to the ends bridging both rhe existing beams.Apparently the first bit of the old roof is now down

It slopes downwards. The end beams also bend inwards so they can join up with the curve of the original roof.

What about the seats will they get crushed?Clever how they designed the temporary supports at the back of the old roof, dark grey, to pivot the old section down
