MLB 2025

Mets' offense has been pretty dodgy honestly, Soto and Vientos in particular aren't producing as you'd expect. I'm sure both will come good eventually but it's frustrating right now.

On the other hand the staff has been unbelievable. Apparently the first in history to have five pitchers with ERAs under 3.15 and 40+ strikeouts through the first 8 games. I hope ownership is keeping a tight hold on Hefner as these guys are hardly born aces.
Thing about baseball . . . . it's a lllllllloooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg season. Can't ever get too up or too down about streaks/form. The game has a way of humbling everyone. A four game win/loss streak in any sport is usually something that impacts a whole season; in baseball, it almost never is.

I only tune in once it hits the playoffs bit like NBA

I always enjoy watching the games. Played a lot of softball in my younger days when working for an American oil company but never played baseball.

It’s the only American team sport I can watch.
Picked a team at random - Tigers cos they seemed crap and I didn’t want to glory hunt.
But last season and so far this they have turned to gold

I’m a long-time Cleveland Indians/ Guardians season-ticket holder, but I love baseball in general and always try to see a game wherever I can. I’ve been in Detroit for work this week and went to the game last night against the Red Sox. Even though Boston pegged the Tigers back, you just knew they were still going to win - a second walk-off in two nights. The long baseball season has a habit of evening things out over the season, but the Tigers are playing like a team of destiny right now.

My team too but picked them due to enjoying the film 'For the Love of the Game'. Don't get to watch many games live due to the time difference but always try to catch the highlights of their games.

It's a sport that I have grown to enjoy watching very much.

That pitching stat was a surprise when I think back to the Braves ( spit ) staff in the 90's.

I'm usually bitter when players leave the Mets but I'm always happy to see Wilmer do well out there, he deserves it.

Hopefully Greene can find his groove again especially with Tork and Javy rekindling their form, would be something to see them all clicking at once.
