As we all know football in this country started in 1992 with the inaugural inception of the premier league (just ask any rag).

At what point do we think the rags and their sycophantic media will call time on the premier league?

I'm guessing the date on the head stone will read: 1992-2013

That all seems a bit too tin foil hat.

I think the more plausible 'conspiracy' related to the Qatar bid was that they were attempting to claim that it wasn't actually the State of Qatar that was effectively the bidder and trying to suggest that the Sheikh was just a private individual looking to buy united.

Of course he was!

That **** White said that very line on talkshite the other week (less the bollocks bit). The other two presenters were talking and it went by unnoticed by them. He said it mid sentence when the other two were talking about the cunts. It was almost as if he got it in his earpiece and he just threw it into the conversation

The footballing landscape has changed over the past 30/40 years, and simply signing cheques just doesn't cut it anymore.

Also, because the PL is so wealthy, the clubs from 6-15 are usually among the richest 40 clubs in the world and can buy the best players from France, Portugal, etc, making them much more competitive too.

The Raine group are no mugs. They managed the sale of Chelsea to multiple bidders. When they asked the Qatar bid for proof of finances they weren't able to produce the details. They had a signed letter from a bloke at the bank and the prime ministers brothers cousins nephew, but all the Raine group needed to see was proof of the money sitting in an account, and it was never provided.

If the Glazers actually had a 5bn bid on the table, they would've taken it in a heartbeat, but the only person willing to come up with any real cash was Scruffy Jim.

They should be very careful what they wish for. Qatar sponsors of hamas a terrorist organisation, can't wait for the spin.
That's what we've done to these counts.
No shame, they just want their precious rags to be winning again.
