The backdrop of mass redundancies, ever growing debt but the rags behaving like its business as usual in the transfer market with no European football in the new season. I wonder what would happen if a hacker stole sensitive email communications discussing the clubs financial activity in relation to passing psr and sold it to a German tabloid?

“It still looks like a moonshot,” says University of Liverpool football finance lecturer Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively to UIF about the money behind the project.
Arf....."Almost £548m of United’s debt is due for repayment in two years’ time, after which they will likely have to refinance at a significantly higher interest rate.

I hardly ever look at this thread anymore because they're more irrelevant than ever.

But we still agree they're a bunch of cunts though, right?
I absolutely love it.

I've been waiting for years to rip the piss out of these fuckers.

Yes, they've become irrelevant as a football club on and off the pitch. But I've got years of catching up to be getting on with.

I was lucky I've always been a City fan so I've had plenty of training in having the piss taken out of me.

These freaks are in uncharted territory and I'm more than happy to rock their boat.

It's become my guilty pleasure.

Re sancho …

Shortly after united signed him from dortmund, i was in the company of an ex pro, now coach, who has worked at Citys academy and other first team coaching rolls around the divisions

He said he was so surprised United signed him because 1 or 2 phone calls and theyd have been told hes an absolute bell end, surrounded by bell ends and City couldnt wait to get rid.
Hes said when city are signing a player they want to know EVERYTHING , about his family, circle of friends the lot but united dont seem to do this due diligence and its a matter of time before it goes tits up with sancho

Wise words

That position shouldn’t be a priority for them anyway, if they believe in Imad’s ability.

Gykores is the one they need badly, but he’d have to be a bit mad to go there unless he’s 100% money motivated. Lots of clubs will be interested in him.

Scruffy going through the sofa’s in the hope of raising the required cash.

I’d say they need to sell , after whatever Cunha’s terms of immediate payment of total cost, before they can spend anything more. Buying cunha so early means it’s another 200k or so gross per week they need to find already.

I suppose the PL will give them a sub.

If you continually spend more cash than you generate through your operations, and you run out of options to make up the deficit, then what will happen?

Why do you think the Glazers were so keen to sell part of the company? It wasn't for altruistic reasons; they needed a cash injection urgently. And why did Scruffy Jim claim they were in danger of running out of cash last year?
At some stage their ability to get round PL rules will be irrelevant and the ones all companies have to observe become predominant.

Thanks for pointing this out to us.
