I’d suggest that all the European clubs will want to win this and it’s those salty fuckers who aren’t in it, and their media acolytes, who are playing this tournament down.

I think you will find that the clubs are taking it seriously; it is the media in our country that aren’t, I can’t comment on the media on the continent. What irritates me is that if any of United, Liverpool, or Arsenal were involved, and trust me, given half a chance they would be out there, the narrative would be very different.

Let's see what happens with the 'evening' Boca v Benfica game. I think the low Chelsea attendance might be down to the working day. Not an issue at the weekend but might be an issue in midweek.

Our game on Weds is approx. midday local time which might mean a smaller crowd? Something to look out for.
