Winning the CL will include a bit of a luck, it's a cup competition after all. The centurions are statistically the best team this country has ever seen. There can be a comparison that says a team was better than the CL team.
A straightforward answer does nothing but dispel reality.Fair enough but the issue here is the Centurions are rightly being eulogised whilst a member of the treble winning squad is being constantly lambasted
In the Grealish threads posters are conjuring up imaginary posts in order to make bogus claims of unfair adulation, making false assertions, inferring a member of the treble winning squad is like a competition winner, insinuations of alcoholism, plucking nonsensical transfer values out of the air, making bitter, grudging rag like comments of only performing for 4 months - the threads are an absolute disgrace and thankfully they won't be around for that much longer.
The ugly side of success, eh.
Rarely played the centre rarely assists or scores when playing wide.He has not played better in a centre role though. No idea how some think that.
All his best performances have been on the left.
We are all guessingWe all seem to be on the same page about Jack ? The drink and lifestyle
Jack, at 100% wanting the football and training hard, is a world-class player, but the drink has and will always have its victims in football, maybe it's a choice or maybe an illness.
But like I said, Pep would have got rid of him sharpish if it was just the lifestyle and drink,
It could be a Mental Illness issue or health issues, we don't know the full story and never will
Chelsea have brought 28 players , we have brought 27We are all guess
I remember it being the other way round. Savic grabbed hold of Jack’s hair and gave it a right tug. How sly is that?.You might be right mate, just can’t remember him being on the pitch, was right near the end when he pulled Savic’s hair and he was still a sub a that point.

it was his reply to Jack's starter for ten.I remember it being the other way round. Savic grabbed hold of Jack’s hair and gave it a right tug. How sly is that?.
Possibly but that doesn't explain why he didn't take Grealish to the tournament and why Pep announced it so long before the tournamentTrue but come on, anyone who thinks the drinking isn’t at least a contributing factor with Jack is being incredibly naive.
You are correct and Savic is an absolute knob.I remember it being the other way round. Savic grabbed hold of Jack’s hair and gave it a right tug. How sly is that?.
Maybe a sale has already been agreed just not announced yet. And Pep didn't see the point in Jack travelling.Possibly but that doesn't explain why he didn't take Grealish to the tournament and why Pep announced it so long before the tournament
I cant see how it helps any party involved.
Even if Grealish s on the way out, it surely devalues Grealish and makes a sale even harder.
If its some form of punishment, its not a great one.
Would devaluing him not make a sale easier? Clubs knowing all is not well and can get him at a cut price?Possibly but that doesn't explain why he didn't take Grealish to the tournament and why Pep announced it so long before the tournament

On the left when everyone else was playing well. To play so few games when the team has so many injuries suggests he's lost whatever he had. - Unless he's only here to see out games when we're winning and that was rarely the case for about four months. He has not played better in a centre role though. No idea how some think that.
All his best performances have been on the left.
I suspect his matchday performance has already done that, A good product sells itself. If, hypothetically, Pep started an all out war with Kdb two years into his time here and gave an announcement of how he wanted him out of the club, do you think that would affect Kdb's value in anyway? Clubs would have still lined up for his signature, like desperate men at a Bonnie Blue giveaway. That’s not to say Bonnie Blue's product is any good or that she (or he depending on who you ask) is top 5 in their field but you get the idea.Possibly but that doesn't explain why he didn't take Grealish to the tournament and why Pep announced it so long before the tournament

Ahh, I thought I'd just missed it.Good question
Not seen any interviews yet from the World Club Cup, Maybe tomorrow somebody will ask him in the pre-match interview
I listen to David Mooney & Sam Lee every week and something that's happening more and more frequently is Sam kinda dropping his guard RE: Grealish. He was pretty tight-lipped at first but he seems less and less bothered about it slipping out that Grealish has a drink problem. Not to the point where he's an alcoholic (yet) but to the point where he's maybe starting to enjoy the demon drink a bit more than football. I hope a fresh start can turn him around and he can avoid the same path that Jack Wilshere went down. Grealish has already reached the pinnacle, a higher peak than Wilshere ever had, and I don't agree with accusations he's pissed his career away. He worked very, very hard to get to the top and then win that treble with us. But it seems a combination of factors have hit his love for the game and hampered the effort he wants to put in.True but come on, anyone who thinks the drinking isn’t at least a contributing factor with Jack is being incredibly naive.
