Tino Livramento

Not overly fussed about Livramento.

Yes, we need a right back but that doesn’t mean we should have to overpay by a good £30m.

Hardly seen him myself but know some Newcastle season ticket holders they rate him very highly, good on the ball, links up with midfield well, really intelligent reads the game and always back in position when posession is lost. In the words of the Geordies,'a pefect Pep defender, but we're keeping him'.
Which imaginary geordie told you this? I have seen many post like this where they call up their imaginary friend to strengthen their statement. There really is no geordie who told you this right?

Bollocks, and do not accuse me of lying I live 45 miles from Newcastle and know at least a dozen Newcastle fans well about half of which are season tickets holders. They all say pretty much the same thing.

They all specifically told you that livramento is a peps player but we need to stay away? Bollocks.

Tactically speaking, what is a peps fullback? Pep is probably the most multi dimensional manager when it comes to fullback, he likes them all. At barca, he played with the most technically gifted right back the modern football has ever seen in Alves, then he played kimmich in bayern who was a very traditional functioning right back, then he played Kyle walker who initially was also very traditional but then slowly invented the multi functioning inverted fullback role with kyle and joao, while playing a more defensive on the other side with ake. What is a peps fullback? He likes them all, pep does not have a single type of fullback, don't insult him like that.

i think we should get proper right back at any cost otherwise it will be difficult to win the league next year seeing how other teams strengthening
Till we get a proper, proper right back, dumfries seems like a very good option imo. With all the uncertainties at Inter, im sure he will want to play for us.

No idea if you are just getting people confused or you don't know what you are talking about, but your timeline is out. Lahm was the traditional fullback that Pep transitioned into inverting to sit alongside the DM. Kimmich was a midfielder at Leipzig, started in midfield at Bayern and Pep then played him at RB (inverting into midfield) when Lahm retired.

The recurring feature of the better FBs under Pep is technical ability on the ball. He'd have a team of midfielders if he could, (hence his comfort at playing midfielders at FB), which is what pretty much everyone would agree with as typical of a Pep fullback. It's also not far fucking fetched that Geordies would not want us to sign one of their players
