There are only 2 positions we haven't added a player to in over a year
Striker: Marmoush
Winger: Savio
AM; Cherki and Echemessi
CM: Reindjers
DM: Gonzalez
LB: Ait Nouri
CB: Khusanov and Reis
RB: ?
GK: ? We got one bought not to compete.
So the next 2 positions are obvious. It doesn't mean im not comfortable with what we have in Nunes, I am. But im also ok with smart decisions.

As things stand now it looks to me like a two way fight for the title (good for the neutral I would argue), plenty more time in this transfer window to alter that balance.I like Wirtz and think Dippers have a class player
I also think we have done fantastic bringing in Cherki,Ait nouri and best of all Reijnders for the same price

i know there‘s scousers in here laughing about this. Wirtz is younger than KDB was and did surpass his achievements.He is nowhere near Haaland. Let's be honest, Haaland was tearing it up domestically and in Europe. Wirtz did fuck all on the biggest stage, got shown up by an Everton reject ffs.
Hes got decent numbers at Bayer, sure. Hes nowhere near the quality and achievements that Kev had at Wolfsburg.
That Everton reject is one of the best wingers out there

We had won the league on goal difference and the Dutchman choose them over us and that was the difference between United taking back the title and us retaining it, and if you disagree talk to Mancini because he said it.Some people love to overreact on here. For the same money we strengthened 3 positions with excellent players, hardly a disasterHe is the nearest thing at the moment to what Kev was back then. Players of the past don’t play against players of the day, it’s all relative and him going to our rivals rather than us is a disaster. Now, maybe the brilliance of our recruitment team and Pep’s tactical mastery will mitigate for that, but city fans dissing Wirtz reminds me of scousers saying Nunez is better than Haaland.

Agreed. Now for me, "disaster" is hardly a word to be used when discussing transfers. Or even in general football discussion, with notable, well known exceptions. But, if you want to use the word in relation to City, the era from the late 80s up to the late 90s could be termed a "disaster".
