I do. And i am. But upgrades are always fine.I thought you were happy with Nunes. I will never take you seriously ever again if you think Nunes will be our right back :)
Completely agree, but imagine we had all 4 and the dippers had none of them. Who’s winning the league then? That’s what I mean by relative. As things stand now it looks to me like a two way fight for the title (good for the neutral I would argue), plenty more time in this transfer window to alter that balance.I like Wirtz and think Dippers have a class player
I also think we have done fantastic bringing in Cherki,Ait nouri and best of all Reijnders for the same price
Reijnders to me looks class
Depends a lot on players fitting in and also avoiding constant injuries which we suffered massively from last yearCompletely agree, but imagine we had all 4 and the dippers had none of them. There is a massive difference between him going to us and going to them. It’s like a 6 pointer.Disaster.
Seriously?
i know there‘s scousers in here laughing about this. Wirtz is younger than KDB was and did surpass his achievements. He is nowhere near Haaland. Let's be honest, Haaland was tearing it up domestically and in Europe. Wirtz did fuck all on the biggest stage, got shown up by an Everton reject ffs.
Hes got decent numbers at Bayer, sure. Hes nowhere near the quality and achievements that Kev had at Wolfsburg.
I’m not one of them and you can check my posts, in fact you and me have had discussions about that before. This reminds me of the Van Persie transfer. We had won the league on goal difference and the Dutchman choose them over us and that was the difference between United taking back the title and us retaining it, and if you disagree talk to Mancini because he said it.Some people love to overreact on here. Go on to any match thread if you want evidence.
In my opinion, you have overreacted here. Look up the word "disaster". As for talking to Mancini (or anybody, actually), everything he said was gospel, yeah. Also, check my post. I said "some" (plural). You're not the only one.I’m not one of them and you can check my posts, in fact you and me have had discussions about that before. This reminds me of the Van Persie transfer. For the same money we strengthened 3 positions with excellent players, hardly a disasterHe is the nearest thing at the moment to what Kev was back then. Players of the past don’t play against players of the day, it’s all relative and him going to our rivals rather than us is a disaster. Now, maybe the brilliance of our recruitment team and Pep’s tactical mastery will mitigate for that, but city fans dissing Wirtz reminds me of scousers saying Nunez is better than Haaland.
Agreed. Now for me, "disaster" is hardly a word to be used when discussing transfers. Or even in general football discussion, with notable, well known exceptions. But, if you want to use the word in relation to City, the era from the late 80s up to the late 90s could be termed a "disaster". But it's not a term that sits easy with me.For the same money we strengthened 3 positions with excellent players, hardly a disaster
Fine, in your opinion I overreacted with the word “disaster”, in my opinion you are wrong to equate me with the match thread over-reactors. If you say so. We'll agree to differ on that. I see I'm not the only one who thinks "disaster" was OTT.Fine, in your opinion I overreacted with the word “disaster”, in my opinion you are wrong to equate me with the match thread over-reactors. My post was more nuanced than that.
For what it’s worth and I’m sure you know I don’t rate Nunes at all lolI do. And i am. But upgrades are always fine.
There are only 2 positions we haven't added a player to in over a year
Striker: Marmoush
Winger: Savio
AM; Cherki and Echemessi
CM: Reindjers
DM: Gonzalez
LB: Ait Nouri
CB: Khusanov and Reis
RB: ?
GK: ? We got one bought not to compete.
So the next 2 positions are obvious. It doesn't mean im not comfortable with what we have in Nunes, I am. But im also ok with smart decisions.
When did he beat Kev’s bundesliga 20 assist record, he’s only ever managed half as many?i know there‘s scousers in here laughing about this. Wirtz is younger than KDB was and did surpass his achievements.
That Everton reject is one of the best wingers out there

true. I am just not a sucker hating other players because they didn’t choose City. Imagine being bad despite winning 2x Bundesliga player of a season in a team that didn’t lose 1 game.I'm convinced that poster is a WUM. All they do is go on about how class rival players are.

Particularly recently. It was a lot better before we changed to 20 posts a page. Some people love to overreact on here. Go on to any match thread if you want evidence.
No idea what he's said this time as he is only one of two posters that i have on ignore.I'm convinced that poster is a WUM. All they do is go on about how class rival players are.
All a blur to meParticularly recently. It was a lot better before we changed to 20 posts a page.
I blame Oasis.
