PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Wittgenstein's idea of category error towards Descartes is pointless. At best he's not even trying to answer the same question and at worst he's playing a language game.
Clearly not answering the same question because the question as Wittgenstein points out is not legitimate.
He might as well have said he knows he's got a hand (outside of specific relevant language games)

I think you should reread those authors.
Wittgenstein (PI / OC not TLP) clearly sets out that Cartesian scepticism isnt just pointless its a category error. The sceptics 'doubt' fails to have any validity. I concede that an argument could be made that Descartes is playing a very specific language game, but if so its so divorced from reality and meaning as to be pointless.

(To be fair never read either in the original but I trust Anscombe's translation for obvious reasons, the question of the Descartes meditation translation has never come up so I'd struggle to justify it either way - but pretty sure its not really an issue)

Surely nobody in philosophy plays a language game?

Yes, though whether that forms part of the charges being discussed - amongst other issues - in this thread remains to be seen.

What can be said is that there is a reasonable business case for centralising certain operating costs (eg scouting or broader administrative costs) when you are part of a multi-club entity. There is a reasonable basis for saying in other words that those costs benefit the entire group and should therefore be borne by the entire group.

I'm not sure how United manage to justify almost £100m of debt being shouldered by the parent club rather than the UK subsidiary when the number of clubs in the United Football Group is currently 1.
CFG shoulders all the group debt so I'm not sure we have much of a case on that.

Either has a soft spot for arsenal or pretending to be a arsenal fan to keep people off the scent
I actually think he’s neither. Arsenal were our biggest challengers when the main 115 news came out and so Nick made his other self an Arsenal fan.
If the 115 news had come out a few years earlier, Nick would’ve made his alter ego a Liverpool fan.

He basically just chose whomever was our biggest challengers at the time in order to camouflage his frankly weird and obsessive hatred of City and our owners.

Yes, it possibly would. But it wouldn't stop you from dying.
I think it is more accurate to state that in a plane crash situation; most folk, religious or non-religeous, would think of their loved ones above any belief system.
I pray I never find out ;)
Had a dream that I drove off the white cliffs.of Dover once.
On my way down, that's exactly.what/who I was thinking of...

Not sure Ludwig really gave proper Rene credit, you should perhaps read her on the subject of his critique.
