Off topic, but going back to the discussion about brick cladding and a mock-up.

A CGI will only give a visual interpretation of what the brick cladding will look like, until you see the brick cladding mock-up.

To be fair that’s a much better quality “sample panel” than what we got . Purely out of interest have you any idea of the actual brick type/maker ??

That's what I initially thought. There brick manufacturer and the name of the brick were on my pictures of the mock-up compound. They are much further back in the thread.

I did the tour yesterday and the guide was telling us that there will be 10 rooms that have a pitch view.

Brilliant. Moving was the best thing that ever happened to us. Everything that followed only happens if we are at the Etihad.

I believe there are 2 levels at the back of the stand, the top one is tje sky bar and the one below is from the hotels (I think).

Top of the stand they won't be used as hotel rooms on match days, they will be hospitality.

I think they will be hotel rooms all the time they have the sky bar for hospitality. Can you imagine having to move all the beds and furniture out and get it to a standard that hospitality requires

As I said they are hospitality on match days. Moving furniture to make 30k+ a match isn't going to alter that.

I think they are going to be used on match days. The tour guide was commenting on how great it would be to watch the game from the view of your room.
