Kemi Badenoch - Elected Tory Leader

Proper shithouse today.

Do you know what… I’m pro Labour and Starmer .. BUT .. surely being leader of the opposition and in PMQ’s it’s all about getting one over and on that basis I say fair play to Badenoch - when she first come in, I felt she was weak and a ridiculous appointment but she stuck it to Labour, Starmer and Reeves today - can we really blame her ? She is fighting for herself and the Tories. So yes, I found her a propar shithouse but if I was a Tory that’s exactly what I would want in a leader - finally have a leader with a backbone and put up a real fight, they have lacked that.

It's ok to attack someone personally who the whole world can see is in distress?

I must have missed that memo.

Like I said we would need to know the circumstances, people get distressed for all sorts of reasons. Some serious some superfluous.
Things tend to travel around the HOC I expect even Badenoch would step back if it was something serious and personal. Let's wait and see.
Plenty of disabled people would have been going through it this week. Strangely plenty haven't been so quick jumping on the horse for them on here. More concerned about their parties optics.
I think it's wise we don't play this particular game of moral grand standing.

Anyhow Corbyn is on Peston, should be interesting.

Yes if this was a boxing match rather than the centre of a democratic institution.

She's a vacuous dickhead who will be the answer to a pub trivia question in a few years

She returned to the UK at the age of 16 to live with a friend of her mother's owing to the deteriorating political and economic situation in Nigeria, which had affected her family.

Not a cat in hells chance the Conservatives can win a general election with her at the helm.

Totally agree and, they really haven't got anyone better. They have destroyed themselves

That's all PMQ's is. The whole setup is a joke. All of the politicians know it's being shown live so it's an opportunity for clickbait which leads to them "debating" what are serious topics in a completely disrespectful manner. They want to make jibes and jokes and destroy each other and it's completely pointless and does nothing to address the actual issues they discuss.
