Supersonic on Channel 4. Lovely stuff.
The South Americans are actually fairly mad fer itNo dates or tickets for Buenos Aires at the River Plate stadium on Ticketmaster.
Strange that.
Quite enjoying Supersonic documentary, loads of great footage
I'm a natural cynic, but i love original footage, this is a nice film in the similar style of Asif Kapadia (but he did it without words, ish), but this is very interesting. Can't believe I've never seen it before. Pair of fucking dick heads :DI went by myself to a tiny picture house in Greenwich, one of the few places to screen it before release , was blown away by how good that doc was.
Must have been where you was stood/sat. It was epic , probably my favourite gigFuck that. They were awful. That Saturday Etihad gig could have been the worst gig I have ever been to.
+100I can’t even begin to describe how good it was tonight. Hands down the best gig I’ve ever been to.
They’re absolutely on fire.
When faced with such situations, the response Chinese people often get from Westerners is, "We don’t care." But the problem is, Westerners aren’t the only ones who can say, "we don’t care"—those Chinese can just as well say, "We don’t care." So why bother making such precise distinctions for these racists? Liam doesn’t represent his brother? Oasis doesn’t represent Manchester City? You can’t act indifferent when you’re in the wrong, then turn around and demand others meticulously analyze all your excuses. In reality, those Chinese don’t care either—they’ll just say, "Manchester City is a racist club." They might even derive some sadistic pleasure from it, after all, not all Chinese fans are Manchester City fans.Liam G's silly tweet has got Man City China's highest complaint levels. The ill-advised "because we need each other" post on Weibo was seen as backing for Liam and his racist slur post. Oasis won't be playing China any time soon.
Tried explaining to a few Chinese mates that Liam is not the shiniest apple on the cart and that he was likely not thinking. The level of abuse and accusations of racism-sympathiser was astounding. You can't defuse something when emotions are high. Really took the shine off the excitement of a great comeback.
Liam Gallagher is not a racist because he posted the words chingchong in a tweetstorm of various nonsensical sounding words. When faced with such situations, the response Chinese people often get from Westerners is, "We don’t care." I've never even heard of the phrase, perhaps LG hadn't really heard it much either so didn't understand it's connotations? I certainly wouldn't have known.Liam Gallagher is not a racist because he posted the words chingchong in a tweetstorm of various nonsensical sounding words.
And you don't speak for the whole of China either. It's weird how you've given yourself that mantle.

Used in the 70's a lot. Ching chong chinaman.I've never even heard of the phrase, perhaps LG hadn't really heard it much either so didn't understand it's connotations? I certainly wouldn't have known.
Lots of people can't wait to be offended these days.I have no idea what Liam said I don't do social media. But is the fuss all over that Liam used the words chingchong ?
I don't know the context so can't really comment. But it does seem very woke and snowflake and wanting to be upset.
I might be wrong
Honestly never heard of it before. I would have guessed it wouldn't have been the best thing to say in this day and age but, I wouldn't have realised it was that offensive?Used in the 70's a lot. Ching chong chinaman.
Would imagine Liam is getting a little help from auto tune along the wayGlad they sounded good. I saw them at MR in 96, when they were at the height of their powers. Saw LG a couple of times since and his voice was poor the last time I saw him. So pleased he's back on form.
