Apparently a few posters on here are with the Goverment on this one. She's on a par with an Isis supporter. Also she's worse than the IDF.Wasn't hard to see this coming after the bridge sitters got locked up.
Fucking ridiculous.
Yep, every right wing gobshite on here talking shite.Apparently a few posters on here are with the Goverment on this one. She's on a par with an Isis supporter. Also she's worse than the IDF.
The police were stopping real crime.Lots of police overtime yesterday to arrest people for something that was legal the day before. As opposed to stopping real crime.

That’s it in a nutshell - they feel the law doesn’t apply to them and they think they can do what they want without facing any consequences. They apparently caused £6m pounds worth of damage. Don't try and make out it was just a bit of graffiti. They deliberately sprayed paint into the engine to sabotage it and I guess prevent the plane from being used?
Tbh I couldn't care less if they are proscribed as a terrorist organisation or not.
The same group smashed up BBC Newcastles building threatening the security guards.
These people are scum who feel the laws don't apply to them. If they get 5years in jail, then perhaps they will abide by the laws of the land and demonstrate peacefully next time.
Aye, I just don't have a boner for the summary executions by the military that you seem to have. Thankfully, neither do our military.I didn't realise it was just trespassing.
It looked very much like the sabotage of a multiple million pound military aircraft to me.
Im guessing you havent seen what they did?
Don't exaggerate, you are now looking silly.Aye, I just don't have a boner for the summary executions by the military that you seem to have. Thankfully, neither do our military.
Where does the manpower come from? There isn’t a ready made workforce sitting around doing nothing.. That’s why some sort of citizenship period or national service might actually be a good thingI don't understand the manpower argument because these are critical defence assets. If those tankers can't fly then the UK cannot provide a sustained defence of its airspace from air threats. As already pointed out the UK defence budget is over £50bn, if we can't find £20 from that to employ a few blokes with guns to protect aircraft then we're stuffed.
There is a lot of crap on here about Palestine but the reality is those aircraft are used for a much more important purpose than potentially being used to assist Israel. That alone is why I support the proscription of Palestine Action, their actions require a very immediate and serious deterrence.
There are armed personnel at UK military bases but their rules of engagement make it very unlikely that a person would be shot in this scenario.. given a kicking and being restrained more likelyI think if you break into any military base and start to sabotage expensive military equipment you run the risk of not only being detained and having the book thrown at you, but also you run the risk of being shot. Presumably there are armed personnel at most if not all of these bases. Interesting to see the outcome if that had occurred.
Thanks for the considered and informed response. There are armed personnel at UK military bases but their rules of engagement make it very unlikely that a person would be shot in this scenario.. given a kicking and being restrained more likely
And for the people saying that the damage was minimal , at least one engine had to be removed and sent for re-manufacture.. a multi million pound process

Let’s not distract from what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank, while we debate the UK government and their distraction technique, innocent children/adults are dying daily, shot and bombed out of existence in Palestine
The world for once is united in its condemnation of Netanyahu and his policy to wipe the Palestinians off the face of the earth and sell their land, homes to the highest bidder.
Even got a couple coming out of 'retirement'.Pretty much sums it up.
Pour paint into your car engine and see if it works. They painted it, I doubt it stopped it from being able to fly and do it's job.
They should have just rounded up the next set of activists in. a march and made them repaint it.
proscribing them as terrorists is a ridiculous waste of time
You don’t understand? Fuck me.Showing support isn't the same as being an active member.
Likely she'll get a caution. Being arrested isn't actually illegal or a criminal offence, only when you're charged with an offence, so I don't understand why people are so emotive about the 83 year old priest.
FAFOYou don’t understand? Fuck me.
Looks like it.Did they have a new one knocking about to replace it as it was back flying within 2 days
