These people are scum who feel the laws don't apply to them. If they get 5years in jail, then perhaps they will abide by the laws of the land and demonstrate peacefully next time.

That’s it in a nutshell - they feel the law doesn’t apply to them and they think they can do what they want without facing any consequences.

Don't exaggerate, you are now looking silly.

An ex military guy on here has already pointed out the rules of engagement and the fact that you could actually be shot in certain situations on a UK military base.

There is a lot of crap on here about Palestine but the reality is those aircraft are used for a much more important purpose than potentially being used to assist Israel. That alone is why I support the proscription of Palestine Action, their actions require a very immediate and serious deterrence.

Where does the manpower come from? There isn’t a ready made workforce sitting around doing nothing.. That’s why some sort of citizenship period or national service might actually be a good thing

There are armed personnel at UK military bases but their rules of engagement make it very unlikely that a person would be shot in this scenario.. given a kicking and being restrained more likely

And for the people saying that the damage was minimal , at least one engine had to be removed and sent for re-manufacture.. a multi million pound process

Then don't complain about the cost it takes to clean it out.

You can be arrested for saying things the Government doesn't like you saying or supporting. We don't have full freedom of speech privileges in the UK. Staggering that people are just realising this now.
 
More than likely they used the paint in engine story to increase the gravitas of the offence and justify the banning. They ought to thank them them for highlighting the sheer inadequacy of the supposed 'security'.
