To be honest no, but I dont follow what he says that much. And luckily I was on holiday when those riots happened so missed much of that very unsavoury episode in the news. So can you post the links to the incitement you mentioned please? Genuinely interested as he and reform appear to be gaining traction and pulling ahead in polls.

I do recall him saying he thought that sentencing people to jail for a fb post was too harsh. I tend to ageee with him on that. People who commit violent assaults were and have continued to be be punished less severely in our courts which I find puzzling. But that is a different issue.

I’m complaining about the fact the government decided after this act of vandalism to declare them a terrorist group which they are not, if you can show me who’s being terrorised here maybe you can change my opinion.

We’re going further down a slippery slope here declaring things we don’t agree with as terrorism. Starmer didn’t have an issue with similar protests 30 odd years ago. I wonder what (who) has forced this change of opinion.

They have to have engines that are available to maintain operational capability.. they cover the trooping flights for many overseas locations and need to maintain the tanker capability so they have to be able to swap out an engine when required..

They also smashed their way into the building using sledge hammers and threatened the security guard. A good friend of mine works for the BBC in that very building and told me the whole incident has shaken all the bbc staff who work there.

But that's the only other incident I'm personally aware of.

However In my opinion, the murderer was a terrorist. He was referred a number of times to prevent was he not? and he had a terrorist manual did he not? Probably more of a terrorist than Palestine Action? Anyway best not drag all that up again. The whole thing and the resulting riots were an awful shameful episode.

When the only way of making sure that the engine is safe is to remove it transport it and have the manufacturer strip, examine and reassemble it before testing it and shipping it back to where it was damaged then I certainly wouldn’t want to pay the bill
