Just back form Silverstone. Are any of these racing drivers not born into wealth or bankrolled by their parents?
Must cost a fortune to fund them through the various stages to become a F1 driver.
Obviously Verstappen is and Norris too by looks of it.
I don’t know much about this sport to be honest. I watched the race today as I found it mildly entertaining when it was raining and stuck with it. Not sure getting pissed wet through in the stands and watching cars behind a safety car would be for me though!
Has anyone been to one and is it any good?
The majority come from wealth but there are a few who come through some form of apprenticeship or sponsored route, due to their talent. Are any of these racing drivers not born into wealth or bankrolled by their parents?

Glad you enjoyed it. I have not been for several years. The speed and British support for the drivers being there in person is a great experience.Just back form Silverstone.
Fifth year in a row my daughters and I have been for the weekend (Fri - Sun), we don’t camp but drive in each day. I refer to it as the sporting equivalent of Glastonbury.
Saturday is probably our favourite day but it is a great experience. Didn’t get soaking wet today because we were in a covered grandstand.
