Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

To my friends in the West: Civilizations collapse not by bombs, but by excuses. So, don't intellectualize terror. Justice begins when language is cleaned. Call terror by its name. Be like us in the UAE, which was the first Muslim Arab country to condemn the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel. The Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is the armed wing, is banned in the UAE. Meanwhile, in the West, particularly in the UK, Hamas has lawyers, charities, mosques, and even members of Parliament defending it. Yes, civilization is not a slogan. It is action. Civilization is not about tea and tweets. It is about drawing the line. In the UAE, we know that Islamist evil rarely arrives screaming. It comes dressed in reason, legality, and politeness until it owns the house. For example, Islamist extremists now hide behind seemingly innocent corporate fronts like “Cambridge Education and Training Center Ltd.” The UAE has banned it. The UK has not. This is not education. It is indoctrination. It is a propaganda factory exploiting the trust of British society, turning your children into ideological hostages. They hijack the name Cambridge, once a symbol of enlightenment, to spread antisemitism and Afghanistan Alqeeda-style hate narratives.

Why is London’s police not investigating Islamist-linked entities like Yas for Investment and Real Estates LTD and Holdco UK Properties Limited? These are not just business names. They are potential Trojan horses. They are acquiring properties, displacing local citizens, and possibly paving the way for former Al-Qaeda jihadist members and illegal networks to anchor themselves in your cities. How many more warnings will it take before the West understands? Safety is not racism. Security is not bigotry. There is no virtue in letting terror dress up as charity or extremism masquerade as education. We know what the Muslim Brotherhood is, the ideological parent of Hamas, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS. And yet, you give them home and citizenship.

With love and prayers, my heart is with every British, Canadian, Austrian, and everyone in the West.

Oh ok, didn't realise that you cant condone a mass murdering apartheid regimes disgusting actions like weaponising starvation and collective punishment and its general genocidal rethroric and support Manchester City at the same time, because a bloke connected to the clubs owner spouted shite on twitter - and the owners brother said something once. How does Pep feel about that? Not sure what to do now, whats the Boltons owners brother opinion on it?

I’ve had a season ticket under Swales, Lee, Wardle, Shinawatra and Mansour. I follow the club not the chairman/owners, managers or players so no I wont be.

How about you accept we all condemn 7/10/23 yet condemn further the genocide being carried out, and finally as no one seems to want to answer the question;

What would you do if you were a Palestine born under the occupation of Israel? How would you react to your family being killed, your land being stolen over the last 70 years?

You've no answer, so you have a go at me.

There's an incredible irony to this comment because time and time again, you respond to people criticising Israel's treatment of Palestinian civilians with post criticial of Hamas as if you've come up with some gotcha ("gonna cancel your season tickets now lads???!"), but we all agree with you that Hamas are terrorist cunts and no one's shedding any tears for them on this forum.

But it's the only answer you have to people criticising Israel's ethnic cleansing and setting up a concentration camp, so you keep posting pretty much the same comment over and over.

No, i just don’t accept the argument. When the government and media in this country has been overwhelmingly pro Israel during all this to then find something the UAE has said as any kind of vindication for anything. Or to make out our government and media aren’t complicit or pro Israel is crazy to me.

We all condemn October 7th but that is no excuse for what’s carried on since. Just because our rich owners decided to buy us and pay for the glory that followed. Is hardly going to make many look to them for lectures on morality.

PB's argument is essentially - "Oh you opposed the War in Afghanistan? Never knew you supported 9/11!".

It's so so dumb, and so transparent.

Just to add.

Apparently political parties are banned in the UAE.
Many things like protesting are also illegal or stamped down on immediately. You also cannot speak against the leaders of the UAE or condemn their policies and actions in public.
It’s a great place to live for some, but not a perfect moral blueprint for anyone to base themselves on.

There’s a lot of support for Palenstine within the country itself, especially as there is a large Palestinian and Lebanese population. They have organised many means to show their support but within ‘legal parameters’ should we say. The UAE, however, seem keen to maintain their political relationship with Israel, so you won’t hear their leaders speaking out against Israel to the extent we would like or probably expect.

There are many Palestinian’s here that I know. Lovely people, very sad, taught a many few and they are proud to come from Palestine. A colleague had about 75% of her family blown up by Israeli bombs over the course of last year, despite condemning Hamas and never being a supporter. That’s fair collateral though, for people in this thread, especially as they don’t see, or care to see, majority of the lives being lost as ‘innocent lives’.

It says a lot about people when they can justify the murdering of thousands with ‘it’s just war’, or ‘they must have been Hamas’.

And the cheek of quoting “not condemning terrorism is terrorism” without any hint of irony. Fucking hell.

It took a while to check on this but is the UAE's "terrorism list" just a way to crack down on dissidents of their regime?

I might be judging a book by its cover but I suspect the Met probably think this guy on the list looks more like a property developer than an Islamist terrorist.

Or:

"Amjad Taha is one of the figures who is central to Israel’s public diplomacy attempts targeting Arab audiences, specifically regarding the normalization of relations between the kingdom of Bahrain and Israel.

Taha is also the Regional Director of the little-known Middle East Studies and Research Center.

Taha has authored the book “The Deception of the Arab Spring”, in which he accuses the 2011 Arab Spring of being engineered by Iran.

He is one of the founders of the pro-Israel Sharaka Institute, lobbying for the recognition of the Zionist regime among Arab states.

After the 2020 “normalization” agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, Taha traveled to Israel and met with several important figures in in Israel. The trip was sponsored by the Sharaka institution.

Taha is of Iranian-Bahraini origin and currently resides in England."

As with everything, I suppose it depends on whose propaganda one decides to believe.

The UN condemns the IDF and Israeli regime for turning off the WATER supply, Palestinians are suffering from a lack of WATER and an attack on a clinic killing 15 women and children it was a bloodbath. Every day the reports coming out of Gaza are heartbreaking in the West Bank Israelis are attacking Palestinians and setting fire to their homes.
The massacre continues in Gaza

In Israel's defence... those babies might have grown up and started throwing rocks at their fence. Completely justified and it's anti-semitic to say otherwise!!

By the way, have you heard what Aguero's sister's Dog thinks about Hamas? That's the real story here.

Summery: “This report investigates the corporate machinery sustaining Israel’s settler-colonial project of displacement and replacement of the Palestinians in the occupied territory. While political leaders and governments shirk their obligations, far too many corporate entities have profited from Israel’s economy of illegal occupation, apartheid and now, genocide.

The complicity exposed by this report is just the tip of the iceberg; ending it will not happen without holding the private sector accountable, including its executives. International law recognizes varying degrees of responsibility – each requiring scrutiny and accountability, particularly in this case, where a people’s self-determination and very existence are at stake. This is a necessary step to end the genocide and dismantle the global system that has allowed it”

Trump has diverted the aid from defending Ukraine in their war with Russia, in favour of Israel’s attack and genocide in Palestine. If there is a just war it’s Ukraine bravely defending itself against the might of Russia. Palestinians trying to survive with nothing and the weapons pile into Israel, that’s where the ethos of our leaders has changed it’s all about the money

Another day for people supporting this genocidal regime to hang their head, but no doubt people will mental gymnastic their way into saying this somehow is justified.

What does it take to say enough is enough.?
The contrast of Starmer Macron and the King in Windsor Castle sat having a banquet, when people are starving and massacred in Gaza.

We constantly go on about the boats yet two million Palestinians will have nowhere to go, we don’t do what’s right and stop interfering and supporting the evil round the world.
We have a King, our House of Commons is filled with people acting like Kings.

It barely makes a ripple that over 10 kids were slaughtered yesterday. Not even newsworthy to some News channels. We are dealing with Monsters for allowing this to happen.
