PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

the use of octopi as the plural is incorrect because octopus is a greek word not a latin one.
(octopodes is the greek plural)

Extraordinary lack of insight in this post and the others leading up to it. If PB says he's had info why should we believe you that he's just making it up? Are you aware of his role with King of The Kippax before BM was even invented and indeed later as a rep on City Matters. Why shouldn't he have reliable sources within the club?

Not that it matters, but I don't think PBs version of the events precludes "horse trading" at all.

City is never going to have as much leverage as it will with a pending decision in its favor, and the PL would want to save face as much as possible. There's good reason to think that in the version of the multiverse where the PL asked to hold the decision, they'd need to be offering something to City to make that worth their while. That the decision continues to be held (in that version of the multiverse) would indicate that horse trading is probably ongoing.

That is compatible with the argument that City believe that the judgement, whenever it is delivered, will be in their favour. We can read their confidence through the actions of Pep, Haaland and major signings, whose decisions must have been informed. This is not strong grounds for confidence but enough to keep me hopeful.

If he was trying to convince me the earth was flat, I would need neither a poster on here nor a secret source, to know he was wrong. Sometimes, people just need to think for themselves.

As I said, I know fine well what he says is bullshit.

WHY he insists on doing it, and how he manipulates posters like you with claimed sources and connections, that bit is my opinion, granted. And I stopped believing ages ago that he is doing it in 'good faith', fwiw.
