PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Stefan is saying that PB is not entitled to claim he knows what they both believe will be a positive outcome for City. It's just a question of PB having more confidence in the evidence from his club source and Stefan's source saying if he doesn't know for sure nobody does - possibly even the panel.

PB claims to have heard from a source that City have gained knowledge of the decision months ago and are colluding with the PL to keep schtum.

PB further speculates that (in his opinion) the most probable reason for the collusion/delay is so that they (PL) can appoint Masters' successor.

Stefan claims he's heard from multiple top top (or top top top?) sources on both sides that the decision is not yet known to either party and subsequently the theory that PB provides is therefore, nonsense.

To be fair to @Prestwich_Blue, he didn't say he had heard from his source about a recruitment. He said that was his own interpretation. As you point out, any headhunting, using a recruitment agent or not, would probably be impossible to keep quiet. That doesn't invalidate what PB said he had heard, though.
 
Getting closer to a result will lead to friction within the fanbase. The majority of predictions that did or did not come to pass will be scrutinised to claim the upper hand.

The result does feel due any day now.

It’s going to be hard enough fighting off the loud mouth rags/dips in public and in the media without turning on each other. It serves no purpose apart from personal gratification.

Whether they admit it or not, a few posters on here have a vested interest in any result so they can write and speak about it on X and talksport to enhance their profile. So I understand the need to be right on the legal formalities. Getting it wrong now will put them up with Sam the erm inside man -:)

Let’s all take a breath before the day of reckoning.

My methods are essentially Socratic, hoping by short questions to elucidate the value of the contributions contained herein. Alas I often succumb to longer than necessary excursions into others' commentary.

I'm sure discussion would naturally drift elsewhere on the Forum. Don't wory if the decision doesn't arrive next Monday we will revert to talking about food again.

You're just pissed off you didn't get the brief. ;-) But obviously I know it's an area you do know a thing or two about.
