Yet again you misquote me. He can claim what he likes. But he's claimed far more than confidence.

I merely decided (mistakenly) to share something I know for sure which precludes that the theory that the decision has been out for months. It has not. Colin (and you) are free to believe whatever you like. For those that want absolute fact, I have supplied it. Again, they can believe it or not. But it is not unfair to say that if Colin is correct, he sits on a massive World exclusive.

Fair summary but I’d add that the lack of leaks in the first scenario is why some are sceptical about its veracity.

Not at people that disagree. People that reply with nonsense, trolling, Capology, replies that literally are the opposite of the evidence. I have many polite and constructive conversations with people on X including Chelsea fans. But sure, if you tell me I'm lying, making it up, have an agendo, acting in bad faith, a shill for City, spamalot, troll of course, I'll sneer at you. Consider sneered at.
 
I’m not an accountant and I’m not a lawyer, and I happily defer to both on matters such as these, but fwiw, I honestly believe we are still likely several months away from a published decision. Possibly another season at least.
The ramifications for whichever side loses this case are, frankly, seismic.
If we lose, the club is fucked for a couple of generations at least. And tainted until the end of time. The even-handed (ahem) media will see to that.
If the PL lose, the fall out will be less immediate, but long term just as nuclear. They will have been shown in a legal “court” (tribunal, whatever, but in front of three of the most learned legal minds in the country whatever you call it) to have systematically pursued one of their founding members, for years, and in full flow of the worlds media, over charges which did not stand up to scrutiny. And that would be unprecedented and could very well lead to a complete breakdown of the PL, and a legal minefield that would make the current situation look like a minor dispute between neighbours.

Whichever side loses is basically out of the game for good.
Therefore, I can’t not believe that this decision will take months to arrive at and having done so will then take many more months, or even years, to write up, in such a way that it is unimpeachable for either party to dispute.

Sorry to be negative about the timescales and they are only mine, with no legal experience, but I think we are all waiting for a decision that could very well be 12-24 months away.

I hope I’m wrong but I doubt I am.

can i ask where you think/know we are at, at this moment in time
are the panel still deliberating the whys and wherefores of the premier leagues claim of our alleged wrongdoing
hence why nothing has been said
or the decision has been made and for want of a better description are "sitting on it" if so why?
i know you have said previously these types of cases take a long time to come to a decision because of there complexity.
you and pb both post in good faith so a bit of clarity would help us minions :-)

They take a long time because the legal profession is based on extracting as much money for themselves as possible from any case they are involved in.

you have rubbished his post as being impossible. At the very least that puts a very large question mark against his judgement at believing such 'nonsense' and then posting it, at the worst it questions his integrity. Personally, I have always found him to be pretty measured and entirely credible as I have you. Thats why I find it a little sad that this is being played out against a background of popcorn gifs.
