Oasis reunion

This is just fucking mental. A lot of people will be sub-25 yrs old and it's like they're witnessing peak Oasis today, at the peak of a cultural zeitgeist, when in fact they weren't even born when Oasis peaked. It's mad, I haven't seen anything like this in all my years of going to gigs. I can't think of any other group who could reform and have this effect on the younger generation.

Awesome
there are other vids on X from all around the Heaton Park area - daft as it sounds a place that once hosted a Papal visit may not be big enough for Oasis

It's because us parents, who are now in our fifties, brought our kids up right - City & Oasis!!

My daughter, who is 30, is a Blue and could probably sing every lyric to 90% of all Oasis songs

I'm a proud dad!!

Fuck off Ashcroft you pie eating wannabe wanker. And when you’ve fucked off, fuck off a little bit more.
Not sure if you are joking or not . I like most of his stuff. I've seen some absolute shit on the tv about oasis myths. I even saw some crap about a bridge that casts no shadow. That song is about Ashcroft and he is extremely talented.

Seen them at Maine Road in 1996 , superb and watched Liam at the Co-op Arena last year who was excellent - wasn’t lucky enough to get a ticket this time round but have to say the atmosphere in town whilst working there yesterday was something I have rarely seen if ever , genuine excitement and anticipation , the stalls , the guitar sculpture , huge queues to buy merchandise , this was 5pm Thursday more than 24 hours before the gig .

Seen them about 20 times, tiny venues like the apollo 2k wolverhampton 1300 max, Watford coliseum 800 capacity. Barcelona, Amsterdam and across Europe. Numerous stadium gigs. That might of been the most enjoyable gig tonight, watching with my best mate and close family was quality. Loads of groups that were similar singing their hearts out was unreal.

Bit soppy this. My 12 year old said to me before school this morning, knowing i was going tonight - send me videos of Oasis. I was a bit taken aback and asked if she liked Oasis, she said duh she's listened to them for years in my car, which surprised me. She said she knew we were within an hour of our UK holidays destination when, I put Oasis on, I did. I didn't even realise i did it but as soon as she said it realised I did, the last hour was always Oasis and me singing badly and loudly. Without even knowing it we had our own little Oasis moment and memory!

I've now got to get tickets to take her to see them together!

I reckon this will be repeated constantly at these gigs, family too young to see the last time Oasis played together and Family having a unique moment watching them together having only heard them on CD /record etc before.

Reading numerous examples of older fans taking the younger generation who didn't get chance after 09 is great, and hearing how it's special in each way / occasion is great.

75000 turn up at old Trafford every week living off history mate ripping fans off should of been there in the early days when they were great
Musicians are not like footballers. Musicians are far better in their 50's than they are in their 20's.
They might be less creative in the studio. But, from a live perspective, after 35 years experience, they generally put on a better show.
It's an absolute nonsense to say Oasis between 1994 -1996 were at their peak. The drummer they have is better than Tony McCarroll. Andy Bell is a far better musician that Guiggsy.
If Liams vocals hold out, these gigs should be Oasis at their peak.
