PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've no desire to keep this going round in circles but my point about the PL looking for a Masters replacement was purely speculative.

I'm even prepared to accept Stefan's point that the formal outcome isn't yet known although I've never claimed that a document consisting of hundreds of pages is sitting in a locked drawer at the Etihad somewhere. But I'll accept I could be wrong on that and it could be no more than they're pretty certain of the outcome, rather than they know it for sure.

But I'm 100% sticking with the claim that the PL will come out of this very badly indeed when the outcome is known, and whatever they're trying to do to manage that is the reason for the delay.

If it was true (I suspect not but just my own opinion) then the negotiation advantage for us over how the PL is run would be huge, so I can see the reasoning. Of course this would all be behind closed doors, so I'm afraid the feelings of the fans don't trump the legalities.

I'm glad you're out of your dark place bud, just don't let it get to you again. What will be, will be, and there's sod all you or I can do, to influence the outcome. Worry about the stuff you can change to make your life better.

Stefan and PB are both Blues and I respect their opinions, neither is out there to fool anyone deliberately.

I can`t believe City don't have some kind of idea as to how it all went and seem very confident in their actions since. I am clinging onto that.

If they got someone he is like that Jim would still ask worse case scenario to get what he and talksport want! If it was me I’d say worse case is premier will only pay out to Man City 20m for listening to other clubs with a complete bias agenda! It was a total fishing trip and those clubs knew we were innocent they just wanted to drag Man City through the mud for years to get the narrative we are cheats! My guess it's the latter, he's become their go to man.

I think it’s more rooted in his inveterate caution. He’s clearly a very cautious man, unless he’s sure of the ground he’s standing on.

It’s truly incredible how little has leaked. Presumably there was some serious comment to that effect from the tribunal.

Here’s what worries me about the impending IC ruling,remember the CAS verdict a few years ago,one of them judges on the panel found in favour of UEFA…so in boxing terms it was a split decision not a unanimous decision.
I know it was apparently the UEFA choice of judge who went against us,that judge saw all the evidence and still thought we were guilty.
Let’s hope the panel of judges on this IC are genuine and not swayed by tribalism.
Remember Khaldoon in one of his end of season interviews saying that he hoped the panel would judge the case on the FACTS………it’s the “he hoped” part that bothers me.

Tbf Slbsn has shut those clowns up and left them scratching their heads, as well if not better than anyone, on that drivel of station - so fair play ultimately.
