Morgan Gibbs-White

Spurs going for Wharton as well. I dont see us sitting by while Spurs have a free run at him, with Tolmie and other journalists close to city saying that people at city love Adam Wharton. I think we might move for him now. Genuinely think he would've been main transfer target next summer with Bernardo and Gundo leaving.
We can't buy every single player that City "love" although with Spursy screwing the pooch I'm getting loads of new "Man City after £70mill ace MGW" posts suddenly :)

I know that, but Wharton has consistently been looked at by us if we go by Jack , Tolmie and Mike Mcgrath, he's really high on our radar if we go by briefs from them. He's probably the biggest English talent not at a top 4 club right now in my opinion.

I think we might get involved if the price isn't ridiculous. With Bernardo and Gundo in their last year.

I think the problem is his injury record. 16 starts last season in the Prem. We've had Jack Rodwell and probably learnt our lesson.

Another reason why I think the club should sell them all but it looks like they will stay.
Losing 2 HG talents over the future just so some players can stay for another year. As always not ruthless enough.. but the market is open for some weeks so I can either moan or be happy by then.

I think it’s obvious Spurs have breached PL rules by making a direct approach to a player - re undertaking a medical. Shouldn’t the PL be charging Spurs and launching an enquiry -or do rules only apply to clubs owned by Middle Eastern investors.
It's Sunday, give them a chance. I seem to remember them doing the scouse for similar tapping up.

He's never played more than 30 games in a season. But I think a lot of that is down to him still being a kid tbh.

According to this, he had a groin/hip/pelvic injury in September that went on for longer than expected, reoccurred in October, he had to have surgery and he wasn't back until February. But since then, just a twisted ankle. The safe option would be to give him another season and see if he can manage a 40+ game campaign, but that would likely add a lot to his fee. He's not out of contract for a long time.

Charged them but did nothing. Liverpool apologised promised to stay away from the player then promptly signed him. Klopp who was caught red handed tapping up Van Dyke in a Blackpool restaurant and escaped any punishment. I wonder why ?

Give Levy a chance ffs.

The plan is to tap him up, on the pretext of activating the release clause and then because he is complete twat and habits die hard, try and negotiate the fee down.

And when that ploy fails, tell their supporters that Forest were impossible to negotiate with.

I seemed to remember them getting fined but you're correct, they did have to put off buying him for 12 months though.
